"Last night, McCullough had put forward his team to be selected for this years event heading to Mantova (something a team manager should have total control over).
Since 2016 when McCullough first took on the role there’s been a five minute discussion over this proposal but it wasn’t so straight forward this year. After over half an hour there still hadn’t been an agreement so McCullough decided to hand in his resignation.
McCullough had Martin Barr and Stuart Edmonds selected for the MXGP and Open slots which were accepted but his recommendation for the MX2 slot wasn’t accepted.
As of yet there’s still officially been no team selected but Barr and Edmonds are likely to be selected leaving the MX2 rider up in the air."
Philip McCullough does an excellent job & im not surprised he has quit. If they cant support you in picking the 3 best riders then your not a team manager your a pupit!
Hopefully we get sorted soon & have a good run at Winning the B final 💪🏻

Glad to see some of these teams coming together, sure feels like it's taking a long time to get some announcements.
This country is a joke and will remain like that unfortunately.

I was hoping for Max Nagl to be picked. Maybe he doesn't wanna go.
The roster is still uncertain (unofficially there is possibility to scrap it due to the lack of funding - basically the whole budget would go towards Hostettler Yamaha for the rent of Polák's bike). My guess would be Dušan Drdaj, Petr Polák (if they make a deal - moneywise) & Filip Neugebauer
McCullough's selection would've been Barr in MXGP, Meara in MX2 and Edmonds in Open.
Farrelly's (or in fact, MCUI's) selection is Meara in MXGP, Sheridan in MX2 and Edmonds in Open with McCormick as backup-rider.
Nothing against Sheridan as it's not his "fault" he's selected, but everyone knows and has seen the results of the past months in the British nationals. Aswell Barr as McCormick are clearly better and faster than Sheridan.
