GoPro on the Front Fender (or other mounting options)

So, a few weeks ago I took the bike out after 4 years (had a 2nd kid), and I placed a gopro mount on the front fender as well as the backup mount and safety string/rope thing.

The angle it gave was so bad ass, but it was a fail...

If you watch from the helmet gopro, you can see it bounce right off...

Does anyone know of a viable solution to capture this angle without wearing some gnarly contraption?

im not really a fan of gopros mounted to the front fender, but to each his own.

Chin mounted is best, imo.

Phenomenal input to the thread. Well done.

You have to mount a long stick on your helmet to get it in front of you. Or, you could probably extend a stick/mount from your handlebars or clamps but there will be too much vibration most likely unless you have the latest GoPro8 or 9 with image stabilization.

I mount mine on my front number plate, or rear fender facing backwards I do this for Flat Track racing.
Mine is a GoPro 7, stabilisation is really good. I also run footage through software called VIDEOPROC that stabilises it even more.

Up under the visor is pretty cool too. It is about as close to the rider's view as you can get.

Well, I have two gopros, which is why I am trying other spots for the second camera.

I really, REALLY like being able to have the view I posted in the top video, but I can't figure out how to actually accomplish it safely.

I have mounted mine off the side of the upper fork by the front number plate and got some good footage. Lately I have been liking the under the visor angle.

Fender mounting is best i feel if you have the 360. That way you can watch going forward then when you catch a mistake you made you can watch the backside and watch to see if you had bad body position or what you did wrong
