New Orleans was fun this year. I heard the race was pretty good, too...though it was hard to tell through all the smoke. Wink

It'll be interesting to check out the new Cowboy Stadium. Houston's much later in the schedule.

Looks like we're back to a more traditional east/west schedule, too. Indy's much earlier, and now the Dealer Expo and Supercross are on back-to-back weekends. Do I stay out there for a week? Or fly home in between? Hmm...

From Daytona, to Toronto, to Texas back to Jacksonville in 4 weeks?

I can't believe they can't schedule it better than that, freaking ridiculous!

Is Indy the first round of the East Coast championship now? That's kinda cool. Though it's not on my birthday weekend anymore Sad

I don't like San Diego in front of A3.
Indy first round of east, nice to see Dallas back, Houston later in the schedule means better weather, surprised that Jacksonville stayed on the schedule...

I too am surprised JAX stayed on the schedule, leading me to speculate they had a multi-year agreement to fulfill, as well as the monster trucks may have been pulling good crowds.

was that 06 or 07 - it was like zero degrees out first of March. My beer stayed cold in the truck though! They pushed it back due to that weather...possibly....

St Louie was awesome weather this year. Camped and rode the day after at Archway MX. Rode the Metro Link to the stadium. Bevo was even at the practice track, telling stories of the 'ol days.Smile
I recommend it to everyone!

Cool, Indy and St Louis are almost 2 months apart. I think I'll hit both of them this year for sure.

06 I think, very, very cold. The night RC cartwheeled the whoops.

I don't like the idea of any one city hosting three rounds. How about a round in the NorthEast? Don't worry about snow, have it in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Need to put Charlotte on the schedule in Bank of America Stadium. It would be packed just like Atlanta is every year.

Anaheim pretty much sells out all three rounds, that's one reason there's three rounds.

They also sell out the other events (trucks) in between, so the promoter du jour has the facility and the dirt there for about 6 weeks anyway.

The LA Area/California is also the seat of the motorcycle industry.

Now, as for your request for a race indoors in the NE, the biggest problem always seems to be unions. The Promoter can't show up and set up "business as usual," because the unions have to set up the lighting, pyro and even operate the equipment to build the track and haul the dirt.....that adds up to a lot of issues from additional costs to inexperienced people handing the show including building the track.

IMO they should get rid of Seattle and add another Anaheim.
