Rebuilds with radically different frame and even engine colors?

A few years ago someone posted a pic of a then newer RM250 smoker made up like a 1986 model complete with blue engine and frame.

Looking for other similar builds with bikes having very different frame/engine/plastic colors than came stock. This excludes all black, since that's pretty commonplace today.

To bad I don't have a pic of this bike I saw this weekend. Aluminum frame yz125 but the plastics were all kawasaki green even the gas tank. Kawasaki blue seat cover and 1987 kx125 graphics on the shrouds.

Back in 2013 KTMs came with dull grey frame and I did mine fluorescent orange.

Has anyone restyled a modern Honda CRF 250/450 like a late 70s Elsinore, with red frame, red engine and silver wheels?

Not radically different but people gave me crap for the frame color.
