I can't believe they wasted so much coverage of the race on Alessi! Tedesco had the best race of his career and they were showing Alessi ride around in last and even worse was that they were missing the race, to show him inside his rig! Never has so much TV time been wasted on someone being hurt! That doesn't look good for the sport, in a parents eye watching it.

Second I thought the insights into the training and heart rate levels of the riders did quite a bit to help inform the average viewer who might not be familiar with how strenuous the sport is at the elite level.
Overall I came away impressed by the coverage. MX sports is doing some pretty great things this season that should only help the outdoors grow and become far more relevant to the outside sponsors and manufacturers.
Good job guys!
Just think of the days we waited like 6 months for WWoS; and we get live feed and TV moto today....
Give DC feedback if any particular coverage is so horrible; sure he'd appreciate the feedback.
The HR stuff is designed to rope in the sports fan who doesn't know much about the sport to appreciate the athleticsm involved. That means more viewers. That means more $$$ find their way back to the riders.
All of you bitchin about it are the same people that complain that all your golfin and fishin buddies, not to mention all the talking heads at ESPN, think the motorcycle does all the work and riding a moto is as strenuous as riding a lawnmower. This type of information helps change those attitudes so that *your* sport might start getting the respect that you think it deserves.
But of course, you'd rather have something to bitch about.
