Move out of that liberal awful state. Problem solved
Would be nice but then you just get the other side trying to take other things away. Also, landlocked.
Edit: Oh right, Florida. Not landlocked at all but the potential CA ban is for riding on public lands, not tracks. Does FL even have public riding land?
I don’t love California but they probably have more land to ride just in Lucerne & Johnson Valley than all the public riding parks in Florida put together.
As not cool as Cali is on a lot of fronts, they have a metric shit ton of public land riding areas.

Pssst…& a National Forest Road & Trail System that’s second to none.

Why would I support a bill to let the state bill me for “registration” for a vehicle I can’t use on public land? That’s basically taxation without representation. Get out of here with that nonsense. Hopefully that bill dies(probably won’t since it’s about revenue).
Secondly . When was the last time you saw a ranger on public land? They don’t even enforce shop lifting laws in SF anymore. Unless you’re going to El Mirage, or Glamis, unload your bike and ride. I’m sorry, but I’m just tired of government overreach encroaching on my lifestyle. Civil disobedience is my solution when rules and regs are unreasonable. You want to check my red sticker, catch me. It’s our land, I’m not asking permission to recreate on it( responsibly of course- stay on the trail, pack out all your trash etc..)
Swing by Hollister Hills in California. Watch the rangers ticket you for anything and everything they can imagine. And lie about what took place in my opinion.

This. I will ride on public land whether they like it or not. The places I go aren't exactly neck-deep in rangers anyway. If that all changes, I'll find new places.
Imagine being excited about a bill getting passed in California, with bipartisan support from state lawmakers, and support from CHP, the DMV, and Cal Parks that will cost you money every year…. Tread harder daddy.
Oh, and complying with the law as currently written isn’t operating in a loophole. It’s no wonder CA is as fucked as it is with that mindset.
Watch On Any Sunday tonight, and see what riding freedom used to be like.
I don’t really see the problem here. What do you save in DMV you’ll pay a fraction every couple of years in the way of fines when you get stopped riding on state land

Yeah and meanwhile there's still how many hundred thousands of 2 stroke weed whackers blowing the same pile of dust and debris around from yard to yard like some fucked up game of hot potato ? And won't less green/red sticker money equal less money for rangers needed to enforce this nazi shit ? I'm not changing what I do one iota. Today is Thursday. Around 10am a 3 man crew armed with with 2 stroke weed whackers will converge at my neighbors house and make the whole neighborhood look like a desert race through a silt bed in July. Carb can fuck off far as I'm concerned
I was out there for five years and never dealt with any of that sticker nonsense. I like to live dangerously. I loved being able to hop on my bike and hit awesome trails right near me.
Side note: Refreshing to have a calm, easy to listen to YouTube personality for a change.
It’s funny, this is yet another stupid California Environmental clamp down that is irrelevant to their air quality goals.

That being said, I HATE the attitude of "we got away with a loophole" and CARB knows best.
