Fun shootout idea

I know it would never happen, but I think it would be rad for Ping to work with RC to get all his championship bikes running and leave the settings exactly as they were left when the bike was last ridden. Everything from the 1997 PC 125 until his 2007 RMZ450. Could do the same for Chad or Bubba too. Other than a 250F for Ricky and a 125 for Chad, all of them would have such a wide variety of bike brands and sizes, 2 stroke and 4.

Would be cool, also incredibly expensive and time consuming if not impossible trying to source old worn out one off parts

Reed has talked about how he would love to have Honda rebuild his 2012 450 but doesnt think they still have the parts for it

The magazines already tested the bikes. MC bought a 90 kx125 in wi. At a truck race. He,s gonna build it, that was his 1st sx bike. Would be cool if he raced an ax race on it. Or a 91 peak bike or his 1st pro bike 89 cr125. MC turns 50 in nov, would be cool if he raced a arenacross 125 all star class . The arena would be sold out both nights. Ping should break out his favorite bike, 2000 rm125 and hit a AX .

Now that’s COOL. And he’s running his old # 125, best pic all year. Anymore pics out there ? Looks like he finished the build. It would be the coolest race in the history of the sport. If McGrath raced his 90 kx125 in a arenacross race.

It was actually a build from a member on here. I'm not sure if he documented it on here, but his name is manbearpig, or throwbackmxguy on Instagram. He's pretty much one of my best internet friends that I've never met in real life

That’s super cool story. That means Jeremy has another 90 kx125, like all great 125 riders have at least 2. I think it’s awesome he,s riding his 1st sx bike. I wish I could find my 1st Mx bike 87 cr125. The 1990 kx125 had a strong mid range, big threat to Honda back then.

I found the vid of Jeremy riding it’s on gate drop. I remember that one pic, it’s from Oklahoma sx. MC won Vegas in 90. I bet it didn’t take long for Mc to feel comfortable on the kx125. Being that the riders rode a lot back then.
