Did the case come with the forks? I don't think the MSRP is too bad at $189.99. Pelican is the name brand standard. A Harbor Freight case can be had for $120 and looks like a pretty substantial unit.

Where did you find the case for $189? I found a Pelican, but it was $174 for just the foam and line $419 for both.
