With races delayed tonight, I will be watching on Peacock but will be 30 mins late for the show, can you pause or rewind the live coverage on peacock?

Thanks!

Nope - unless you have a way to make your internet buffer for 30 minutes right at 6pm CDT...

On a side note does anyone have issue with Peacock buffering more than any other streaming? I know my internet sucks as I live in the boonies...but I can stream Netflix with no issues, can stream youtube with no issues, when I try to stream the races it's always buffering.

On my AppleTV / Peacock, I can fast forward / rewind. Seems like I would have noticed this before, but it works just like a DVR or Gold did last year.

Peacock is the worst. It buffers often and it's not my network. Their servers must get overloaded in certain areas because I get the wheel spinning often and pixelation. My connection is very fast and I've never had any issues with anything else so it's the Peacock app for sure.

Using the peacock app on my iPhone I can pause, fast forward, and rewind... but none of those options are available when I login to the peacock website on my laptop

In the SE, I have perfect coverage on a smart tv. Wonder if it could be a settings issue if your internet is up to par.

It's the same on my ATV or smart TV. Been numerous threads throughout the year complaining about the Peacock App so it's got to be on the server side on their end.

No problems with my network:

The Peacock app is pure ass IMHO. No user profiles, no restart live broadcast, no pause, rewind, etc.

Sucks balls I say.

I run thru a xbox with pracock. No pause rewind available. I can next day but not live. Would be a great feature. Also i still think during breaks, having a pit cam would be awesome. Pick which one you want to look at or switch them all as you choose. More sponsors get tv time and we arent staring at the track.

I’ve never had it buffer one time and I’ve watched every qualifying and main this year. It’s your network. 😉

I have Peacock and I can rewind the live qualifying and the live main. Not sure what you’re talking about.

And I believe, only a very recent feature.

Definitely not my network. Look around and you'll see plenty of guys with speedy networks complaining about this. This is the first app I have ever had problems with and it makes sense due to all the other complaints. Just because the server you are getting fed from works fine doesn't mean it works everywhere else around the country. Look at my network speeds above for reference.

NBS Sports Gold was never able to pause, FF, REW during live broadcast on a Roku...but I could on my laptop.

I'm just hoping for this to become a feature on Peacock soon. Currently, I mostly wait until the whole race is over before watching so I don't have to listen to segments I don't GAS about. FF thru Will and Turdledge segments is a must.

It could be a problem with your modem and router. I had the same problem a few years ago, good speed but buffering. I discovered that my router couldn’t handle all the devices I had connected to it over time. Once I upgraded from the POS from the cable company and got one that is designed to handle multiple devices I never had an issue again.

It's not my equipment. I pretty much have a Nasa setup in my house. My equipment closet looks like a switch room and I run much more high performance AV over decoders that transports 4K60 4:4:4 over gigabit ethernet.

The peacock app data requirements are peanuts compared to everything else I'm running and streaming.

I'm okay with the peacock issues. I saw the complaint threads that started long ago when it came out so I'm not surprised when it gives me errors and buffers. Tried it on multiple TVs and devices too, so it's not just isolated to one TV or ATV.

This is the first app I've ever had issues with. People used to complain about the Gold app but that worked flawless for me as does everything else except Peacock. Could just be the specific server and routing that feeds my area.

Yes! I too live in the boonies and have experienced the exact same thing.
