best front tire

What do you guys consider the best front tire for a 2005 crf250r? Im not to happy with the dunlop 742 that came on it and am looking for something new in intermediate terrain.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Dunlop new MX-51 that replaced the 756. I have heard that the 745 is good for intermediate to hard pack, can't say from experience on the 51 or 745. But the 756 has always been good to me.

Thanks fcr , i think i'll give the new MX-51 a shot. I just hate paying for tires, they're so expensive!

742 is garbage. Always has been.

Love the 745 for hard-int.
756 for int-soft but the MX-51 just replaced that.

I used the Dunlops. I've been running a 755 for a while but they've disconintued them back before the 756. I've got a 773 sand tire on now. I only ride on race days and the prep around here's pretty good. I like the 773 for most all track types so long as they are prepped.

I really like the way the Bridgestone 403/404 combo looks. I might try that soon.

We use the Michellin S12 front in michigan. MS3 Rear. Seems to be a good combo around here.

By far. I just switched all mine thanks to Dunlop, and they are my new favorite. Good for almost anything.
