Hey thanks for responding. It says they’ve been notified to fix it but nothing has been done. I’ve also emailed them but no response.

I know it might be a lot of work but could you repost the pics on this page with a quick update and then just carry on from there? Just so you aren't stuck waiting.

Ok I honestly can’t remember what the last thing I posted on here was. Right now the bike is starting to go back together we’re just waiting on some parts to come in, but they keep getting delayed on shipping. After these little pieces come in I’ll install them and then we can hopefully do our last big order of parts and get the bike done.

This is how the bike sits as of right now.

Did some more work on the bike. I put the air box on just to see what it would look like but I still got to get a lot of work done on the shock and install it.

I can’t remember what all was on the second page but I remember there was a pic of the black gas tank Clarke Racing hooked me up with.

One of the holes for the cap on the front brake master cylinder was all jacked up so I was doing some redneck fixin and filled it with jb weld and was gonna try to re-thread it but that’s not gonna work. I’ve seen people switch their front brake master cylinder out with a Honda one on a couple different bikes. Does anyone know if any Honda master cylinders would work on this bike?

Yes you can do it. Its as simple as bolting the line up. You may need to get a honda brake line but dont quote me

I would go for a 2012 or newer. You can use the Suzuki line as well. I believe you can use one as far back as 2009

Any year will work, I can see 11 cast into the body of your master cylinder. That means it has an 11mm piston, that 11mm piston is why people upgrade to the Honda mc. It wont really be an upgrade for you as you already have a master cylinder that has the same size, If you want more info have a quick look here , My RM125 has an 11mm piston so you would probably be better off looking for another Suzuki mc to keep it all in the same brand.

Maybe you could tap bigger threads to that bolt hole and use M5 threaded bolt instead of original M4? You would have to drill the hole in the cover also one millimetre bigger when doing that.

You can also get new aftermarket Honda master cylinder from Ebay for a really good price if you want to replace the whole unit.

I need to order some spokes here pretty soon. Any recommendations on what brand I should go with? I know excel and pro wheel make spokes for this bike but are there any other?

Did some more powder coating today.

This Hawaii blue is a two part color so I had to lay down super chrome for the base and then spray the blue on top.

Had to use some helicoils today for the radiator mount and subframe mount.

The drill bit snapped 👎

Also powder coated the hubs today with super chrome and then I put a clear coat on the front hub and it actually made it less chrome. I’m gonna have to strip the front hub back down and just respray the chrome without a clear coat tho.
