Wow... nice to see a team stand up for what's right. So.. who'll get that ride?

What was Coisy doing? Testing with one of the big teams as a potential fill in maybe?

Why would he be ? his results are lacking big time this year.

Sounds like he wanted the summer off to play around like some other guy's

We have to wait for Coisy's side of the story...

What's he gonna say? No I wasn't out jet skiing this weekend? or whatever other physical activity he participated in besides riding his dirt motorsickle?

I'd think a team wouldn't let it be known a rider was in breech of contract in public without some darn hard proof of it.

Because it's obvious that MotoConcept's press release doesn't say everything ...

The way I read it, he could have been playing softball, water skiing or bowling. Potential he could be riding, it sounds like they wanted him healthy to come back to riding.

What I just wanted to say is that if everything would have been really OK between Coisy and his team before, we wouldn't have seen such a brutal end of the story...

Wouldn't it be awesome if just one time a rider maned up and said

"yup I screwed up" ?

yeah kinda bland, im guessing by reading this he was injured? and from the PR it sounds like it could have been anything like said above. I dont understand this really unless he re injured or lengthened his heal time doing something? I know from a friend the contracts don't allow you to do much of anything, but i wouldn't see a reason for anything more than a fine or pay cut, i would think termination would mean he jacked himself up?

Yup

Ever heard a rider say the equipment was good I just didn't live up to my part of the
contract ?

What happened to his factory Honda gig ? Bad Bikes ?

I read it as..... he said he was hurt.. couldn't ride.. but yet.. went out and did some activity that showed that he wasn't so hurt afterall. That's what I got out of it.

Ya know.. when you tell your boss you're sick as crap and can't leave the house/couch and then his wife see's you out riding your dirt cycle? Hehe.

The first sentence of the press release really would have been enough IMHO.

I wasn't particulary talking about the quality of the equipment...

I like it that they took the stand and gave the reason he was released.

Guess what would have happened if they didn't lay it all out? People would be asking what happened, why, etc. etc.

Clear cut and to the point. Kudos to them.

Apparently Coisy didn't view beer pong as a sport, but I guess his team did.

Coisy's been taking a dive ever since he's been at Motoconcepts, always too injured to race and then healing up just before his injury clause ran out. Then he'd get injured again, only to come back just in time to keep getting paid. After a rider does that enough times you have to question his dedication. Mike Genova has been more than fair to Coisy, but could only stand being shit on so much...

Maybe he didn't heal up, just rode injured to get the pay?
