Qualified last week and was wondering how many of you are qualified and making the trip as well. We could have some description of a Vital MX party.

I'll be there with my son in 250B Stock, 250 B Mod or 450 B Mod. He made it at Glen Helen this past weekend. I am very proud of him.

It's very weird to line up next to a former world Champ and a former SX champ on the +40 gate....might have been +35 a few years back. Kinda cool.

Be careful, the + classes have the worst first turn crashes. Just relax and let your conditioning finish the race. I went from 24th to third one moto pretty easily....just keep pushing at that place - you cannot let up. The riders lose their will at 17 minutes. You'll make 5 passes in the last 2 laps.

I won't make it this year....scheduling conflicts.

I've been there for over 20 years, so I'll be there again this summer. I've worked with Team Green every year and enjoy it so much.

Remember the 35+ carnage 4 years ago in the first turn ??.

Scavo, myself and another photog were standing in the first turn - seconds later bikes cartwheeling past.........

Good luck to all..........see ya there.

One of the scariest first turn experience I ever had was at LL's in the 45+ class in 04.

Had a rear wheel go past my head as I was trying to avoid the carnage. Had to practically stop to go around it. The first lap too-same thing guys swapping out BAD. I swear you would NEVER know these guys were 45+ they rode like novices with 10K on the line.....lol

Not that race but I cartwheeled threw the 1st turn in 90 resulting in a broken finger......I was there so I still rode the last 4 motos.

JOHN CHOATE....have we raced together at Iron City?

Any of you going I will give you a killer deal on a full set of colored hoses for your bike.

If all goes well at the High Point regional in 9 days I'll see you at the starting line. Parker will be fast, but I think Dubach is still the favorite in the +40 class.

Yea unless you have 2 bone stock bikes.I mean stock grips even.Would much rather build a fresh stocker for LL than go all out and build a mod.Even though its alot more fun.

It was only scary because you are so old.Wink
Good luck to everyone who goes and remember Moto is supposed to be fun first. Everything else is a bonus.

Trampas won last year and looked really good at the regional too. I kept him in sight for most of the 2nd moto but he was also nursing a sore back. You could tell he wasn't riding his best.

Here I am about to turn 42 and I think I am taking it more serious than when I last raced Loretta's 25 years ago!!!! Crazy, isn't it?
