When Gary put up the sale, like you, avidchimp , I got onto Maps, and went searching for it.

I found a few other properties with tracks around the area as well as his, and, the Salem MX track. It's quite interesting to see how many private tracks you can find in rural / semi rural areas.

I could see that keeping up just the grounds of a property, then with the Track / Tracks, would be quite a bit of work in itself.

Whatever Gary does, I wish him well.

And, as ever, I hope he will turn his hand towards writing book(s) on his Racing / Life, as his stories he's put up, have been so well written, enjoyable, and informative.

I had a great time at Gary's training camp. We spent the night in a nearby hotel and it was of course an honor to learn from a legend of the sport. People like this retire with nary a blip- Racer X or somebody needs to do a big feature on Gary. The man helped launched Jeremy McGrath and had been a fixture of American motocross for 40 years or more.

Property has NO ZONING, that is fine and dandy

Do you have mineral rights to the property? Gas and Oil?? And if so do they transfer to the new owner without restriction??

IF not it would be a shame waking up some day with a drill rig on your property...

For those not familiar with the area. Gary,s track is close to the Pa. state line. I-77 n from Wv. Is rolling scenic hills all the way up. Little over an hour north is Youngstown. Eastern Ohio is very scenic, covered bridges like you see in calendars. Always listed for scenic dual sport bike rides. Cool cute blondes,

Great point. That can be another a strong selling point and a deciding factor, as someone who is willing to buy a facility will appreciate riding other tracks regularly (as well as with other fast riders, and future friends). I guess Gary introducing the buyer to the area can be possible and very important.

It's a beautiful place and fairly cheap even going by rural Alabama prices. Cant fix the logistics of track and move it south. But you have an awesome place there Gary. Like others have said, we have your full set of VHS tapes around here somewhere. Good luck
