When Cagiva bought Husky ('87), the folks "left behind" in Sweden created Husaberg (Janurary '88). KTM bought Husaberg for their Thumper Technology...('95)...which is still somewhat visible in the current 450/500 engine...
So, it's fair to say that...there's plenty of Husky DNA in 4T KTM, Husky and GasGas scooters. So, there's a bit of "Husqvarna" DNA in the KTM brands.
That is the real story. Which is kinda the opposite of what folks say around h'yar.
