What do you guys think a 20 hour 18' 150SX is worth? Will be listing my bike on here in the near future and am curious what others think it might be worth. Bike is in great shape, I have all the stock plastics, title, manual, jets/slides/needles, extra set of bars (stock), stock spring and have meticulously cleaned air filters after every ride and changed oil every 5 or so hours. I appreciate any input. Also, its never been raced. I'm strictly a weekend guy. Thanks.

What ever somebody is will to pay for it compared to how bad you want to get rid of it.

Check marketplace for what they’re going for, and price it according to how bad you want to sell it. I’ve always sold bikes for way less than I should only to get rid of it quick with less haggle.

$5000-5500

I sold my 2019 with 35 hours for $5500 in a day.

Hope that helps!

Wholesale book is $4,885. If you are selling to a private buyer, look for $5,500+

The problem with that is those are asking prices. I just sold an '18 kx250f with pro circuit suspension for $4600. He is not going to get $5500 for that bike unless he finds a fish. The thing was worth $5500 when he rolled it off the showroom.

Don’t know what the states are like but here in Australia we seem to have a 2 stroke COVID tax all of a sudden..... all 2 bangers sell fast easier and for more money than any 4 stroke will.

In the states it's not limited to 2 strokes, lol. The prices jumped and for some reason the used market asking prices have overshot the selling prices. Clapped out 15 year old 4 strokes asking $4K+, they won't sell. Some just set there for months. I had a bunch of offers for $3500, lol. Still sold in less than a week.

There is nothing to buy here in aus everything is selling at stupid prices. I’ve sold 5 bikes in the last weeks fast and for more than I would normally have gotten but still cheaper than the other listings.

Used 2 strokes are selling within hours up here in the Pacific Northwest. Early 2000 clapped out bikes to newer models with low hours are gone the next day for seller asking price. I had a guy offer me 6,500 two weeks ago at the track for my '19 150SX with 32 hours on it (granted I've put FMF pipe/silencer ,VForce reed/cage, Flo levers and pegs etc.) on it, but I got it out the door brand new end of '18 for $6,850 (steal of deal). I'm on the fence of putting mine up for sale even though I love the bike, after the 125 dream race in October if this 2 stroke frenzy continues.

But, like previous posts have noted, all about what you want to ask and if you're willing to stay firm or want to offload the bike makes the difference on final sale price.

Supply and demand, folks. The manufacturers are having trouble delivering new bikes, so used values are taking off. It's been a seller's market for nearly 6 months now.

BINGO! I likely could have held for a bit more but was willing to let it go because I am waiting on a '21 to show up.

He doesn’t know what point he’s even trying to make. Just a few posts after that he goes “BINGO!” To someone saying it is a sellers market and bikes are selling for more than they usually do. He’s lost in the sauce, much like all his other posts. Grinning

It's not a sellers market? I know I wouldn't pay $5500 for a 3 year old bike when I can buy a new one for $7K. Maybe it's you that's lost.

I know what they are going for and there is a ton of them "for sale". Evidently you don't know what they are SELLLING for.Too bad your majik app doesn't tell you how long they have been for sale.

The problem is we are not looking at the used car market. We are looking at a market that has gapped the asking price over the selling prices because every tom, dick and harry saw the spike and decided to try and cash out on their old ratted scooter.

Based on market conditions alone I would be looking for $5200 for his gorgeous '18 but willing to take $5K or less depending on his needs. KBB dealer value has it $4700 like the bike I sold but NADA is $6K for some reason. I have found KKB much closer to things I have sold/puchased over the years.

I am getting thrashed for saying he is unlikely to get $5500 yet nobody here seems willing to go that high. I don't even think you know what you are saying yourself because on the first page you say you would offer $5500 and here you say you would pay $5K.

Its a sellers market right now so list it at a higher price, you can alwasy go down in price if you are not getting any action. Cool but its hard to raise the price if you listed it too low.
