All the titanium used on the bike will give me around 8 lbs of gain, luckily because the crankcases and the rest weigh heavier.

Several things: When you want Titanium for your screws,bolts, especially if you want it to look like the HRC type model he used. You have to go through the Denton "PDE" UK family. He knows how to do it, and work well!

So among other things, I had ordered a handmade HRC style bolt kit for the CR500 engine, from Phil and Stevie.

However these bolts are for OEM crankcases not for all the needs of the hydrolic clutch pushrod crankcases.(like TSR case's)



I find myself having to re-do it all by them and their talent. Or to tried myself by DIY.

The covid-19 ruined some of my plans, a lot of lost parts never received and a lot of shit that followed, I don't want to go through that again.


I am thus obliged to learn how to machine, turn, mill...and I'm starting with titanium

But it is necessary to know that if you find expensive, people like "PDE UK" or another, you're mistaken.


making a M6 screw will take me an hour, which is very expensive and makes PDE UK or other perfectly competitive or even cheap (price level).

DIY = Five Bolts = 5Hrs!

The gray middle screw is a 50mm OEM honda,

right side front PDE UK and behind TI Classic UK.

What did you get the Rockwell C hardness to on the bearing orifices of those cases?

Better than OEM due to the High quality of the alloy.
Keep in mind that the engine cases are consumable!
For the rest ask to Troy or Andrew.

But to me, in your writings, you are a very rude and disrespectful person and I don't see how it would have done you any good to know that. when you may not even know the value on the original aluminum casting of your own motorcycle?! so I didn't take the time to ask and I'm not sure how you would have gotten anything out of it.

Hardness is not the most important thing.


About free play between them... if not, I could also do a lesson on 6061 aluminum T6 state

resistance to rotation cycles (fatigue limit) in MPA/psi - surface condition/finish.... Sorry, that's not why I'm here

With the difficulties that I encounter in receiving things from abroad, I wish to call on others only for the high added value of their know-how.

I like this! Rekluse and I have collaborated to make a few different items and this is one. It’s origin comes from helping a friend named Scott Murray who used Service Honda built Gen5 bikes in the exhibition stunt shows etc. Under the hard acceleration and 100% traction of the compressed suspension against the expanded metal take off ramps he would slip every model of clutch fiber combination produced for the CR500. I contacted Charles Hanzel of Rekluse who’d helped me refine the calibration of the Z-start pro style clutches in these engines and he sent a box of possible compatible components which included CRF, CR, and TRX items. With no modification to Rekluse items but a change in basket shin and pushrod lengths I came up with what fit and worked properly and they altered one item to create a part number available set for the CR250/500. The clutch held on the ramp etc and has been thoroughly Abused in land speed record attempt bikes etc ever since.

They say that impersonation is the best form of flattery lol. I do see an area that I prepare differently in the last 2 years or so, it can gain 3-4 cfm throughout the lower throttle positions yet. But don’t get me wrong, those are nice.
