Incredible build. What events do you plan on racing the bike in?

The plan was to run in the national veteran championship due to my grand age! HAha! This is still relevant despite the health crisis here.

This is on of the best builds in Vitalmx history! Keep up the good work and please carry on posting pictures how your project is progressing

I was just about to say something similar to JMX. This has to be the trickest build the site has seen and doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Those crankcases are something else, along with that pipe! Genuinely drops my jaw every time I revisit this one.

I'd been wondering where'd Hulkteam had got to.

"This has got to be the Trickest Build" Rickyisms - the thing is, throughout all this time, it seems he's got a couple, or a more , exotic builds going. Just an indication of that in the last ( well, October last year) few posts are the 2 different Billet Cased Engines he has in the pictures...... ones a Hydro Clutch, the other a Cable one. Woohoo

I suspect these CR builds are but the tip of the Iceberg that Hulks got on his hands. Cool

For real, and then he throws that 96 McGrath bike in our face too!

Hello. Love the Graphics with the green hulk in the background! I just read the whole thread for the first time. Your dedication to the craft is lovely. I like to work to save weight on my builds and that can be a real pain in the butt at times and quite time consuming.

I don't bother to post my work and projects, I'd be too embarrass as to how slow I am at getting the work done.....

Did you check the crank runout on the KOC crank? I had them do a few and they were really out of whack, forced me to get a crank stand and check everything before assembly.

I see you are using Hinson baskets. The last few I've used for CR5s the inner gear which should be a press fit just slipped right in at room temp, not a good thing. Years ago they had to be a press fit or freeze heat method.

You have officially cured me of wanting to build custom CR5 pipes!!!! I have a Bills pipe on hand that has seen better days and I wanted to recreate it. Best stamped pipe IMHO.

Hats off to you on the build.
