I am very surprised by this. I figured he showed some good results and would have been re-signed.

who is taking his spot?

Maybe he can snag a ride with TLD Gas Gas? He has had some solid rides and the win at Daytona this season, surprised hes not staying at Pro Circuit.

My only thought is they have plans to sign another veteran 250 rider. I am curious is they will keep McAdoo.

Where did it say PC isnt going to sign him? He did well and theres nobody better to take his spot. I dont see why they wouldnt resign him.

When a rider comes out and says he does not know what the future holds team-wise usually means he is not coming back to the team or at this time the team does not plan on bringing him back. Riders usually never will post about contracts or teams until its 100% confirmed. We are at the end of August and by now teams know who is coming back and have usually signed new riders.

This really sucks. You could see him steadily progressing since his debut and with a lot of the top guys moving on I expect him to rack up some podiums and wins soon. I would guess his upside is better than Smith or Cam. Forkner is the fastest but it doesn't count when you can't keep it on 2 wheels and complete a season.

He will end up somewhere. He still shows some promise, as far as I'm concerned. He sure has had some injury troubles but it would be way too early for teams to give up on him, in my opinion. Good luck to him, he seems like a good dude and he is a great rider.

I'd get rid of Smith before Marchbanks.

Matthes and Blair have made mention of it and are just as baffled......so am I but I guess from what Matthes was saying Marchbanks & PC are not getting along well or something to that effect.
It's crazy to me to see PC/Kawasaki NOT move heaven and earth to resign Marchbanks, they've probably invested Millions into him as hes been a Team Green amateur star of theirs since 2012 when he was on 85's. He got the full AC treatment as far as lots of good bikes and parts, won a supercross race daytona of all races and got 2nd in his 2nd sx race and is really starting to show his true potential. This kid is gonna be good and whoever picks him up is gonna get a guy that can and will win races and possibly contend for championships.

If I was managing TLD gas gas he would DEFINITELY be one of the 250 guys I'd be picking up. Geico and Star are overfull, that leaves JGR who can pick him up when their title sponsor comes on board, Rockstar Husky is pretty full but I'd take Marchbanks over Swoll, is KTM gonna have a 250 team separate from the Gasgas effort? obviously pC Kawi isnt keeping him bec of Hammaker's about to join the team but I'm always surprised when these teams are so adamant about going full tilt boogie on an unproven absolute rookie regardless of his amateur career vs someone who's definitely shown promise he is picking up on being a professional sx and mx racer and contending for wins.....PLUS Marchbanks has been working with Tedesco. It's a head scratcher for sure.

heard this quite a while ago, i was completely caught off-guard as i feel like he more than earned his spot this year in supercross.

this sport is rough, chew you up and spit you out.

hope he gets a good ride, he deserves it

Unreal. Won Daytona with sexton on his ass the whole race. Kept progressing both seasons.

With all due respect, but I would choose him over Smith. Even though i love how much heart Smith puts into races, it seems like he can’t think anymore when he has to deal with adversity. Marchbanks has improved alot over the past two years though

Parents may be a pain to deal with? Been more than a few fast guy's loose/Not get rides because of over bearing parents

Perfect guy for KTM to hire. What a mistake by PC to let him go when he finally has figured it out.

Man you guys give alot of credit for 1 daytona win (which is awesome dont get me wrong) but Garret`s results have kind of sucked since turning pro
Last years SX average finish 12th, outdoors 18th, with 2 podiums (in a pretty weak field outside the top 3) this year in SX. Now on the couch
That overall doesnt get a PC ride imo

I know it’s not going to happen but I’d love to see Craig on PC.

It’s surprising, it seems like PC are dumping him just as he is hitting his stride.

I wasn’t impressed with his results until this year, but it was easy to forget just how young he was, and this year it seemed like he really turned a corner.
When you look at who is moving out of the class this year, I am assuming he will be a championship contender next year if he can find a good home.

Sport is so fucked. Support kids from 50s to big bikes and then dump em after a year or two. Kid won Daytona straight up and is losing his ride. What a joke. Hope he goes to another factory team and KILLS it.

Considering he was pulled out of the Ams a year early i thought he was starting to look decent, but i guess more is expected of him.

Be a good fit at TLD i think. Too good to be passed over.
