Joey top 10 in first race back in a long time and he’s getting hate for it. Wow vital is a bunch of idiots LOL.
Who is hating on him? I think 9th overall is good. I also think Joey expects more.

The bikes might be good, but they are not as good as the other bikes. I doubt Savagty is overly thrilled with his finishes. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that racers at his level want consistent top 5 to 7 finishes. I'm not knocking the finishes bc at the national level, riding near that top 10 is good, but there is no way those Suzuki's are as good as the other bikes.

Yea that’s what held savatgy back, the Suzuki. I’m sure he wants to be a constitent 5-7 guy too. But man that factory 450 in between is his legs is what’s holding him back. Couldn’t be the ten guys in front of him who were just faster...
It could be a lot of different factors. It's only one race, and perhaps Joey and Max will improve their results to top 7 or even top 5. But I noticed the one thing some will never admit, is that it could also be the bike. When it comes to Suzuki apologists, that's off the table and why I will rarely discuss the subject. Any questions at all are instantly seen as "hate" as opposed to an honest inquiry that many people have.

Not going to lie.

When I saw that sea of yellow round that first turn, it put a huge smile on my face.

Fast Freddy getting the whole shot was cool as can be.

It’s more to do with the Pirelli tires. The Mx soft is miles ahead of Dunlop’s mx12

They seem fine until you fall/stall the bike and then sit there kicking while the field goes by.... Great looking bikes!

The fact that there is a thread dedicated to how these bikes did in the first 15 secs of a race is a testament to how far this once might brand has fallen.

I think that the pride comes more from the fact that there is a group on Vital that likes to poke fun at Suzuki and claims they are underpowered, overweight, and outdated. Then to see three of them out front in a race is a great testament to how the bike is doing just fine. Do they need e-start, you bet. In a race modified setting are they more than capable of being competitive power wise? No doubt.

A good majority of people here will literally try to find the smallest thing possible to try and say they had an advantage to try and take away from Suzuki’s being up front, or any other brand they don’t like for that matter.

I’ll admit, at first when I read your post, it definitely seemed like that’s what you were trying to do.
Gotta admit, I was laughing to myself last night in bed listening to JT's podcast when he got to sponsor reads about Pirelli, and he literally said over and over again how amazing that Scorpion Soft tire is, and that there is zero doubt in his mind that IS why such good starts yesterday

..promise this is not an 'I told you so'... more of a I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin kinda thing lol
