Must be big changes since the release is delayed so much 🤔
Nothing is always logical!
The 85 rm hasn't been shown too...do you expect big changes?
2021 RMZ are supposed to hit dealers in 5/6 weeks, bng is more than probable as it what's people from the industry have heard.
2021 450 CRF are for late october/November in europe, and it's normal as the bike is new.
If rmz were new bikes, suzuki would be proud to show them like the others japanese brands did.
For now suzuki seems to be busy showing the new wifi tuning system and the 100th anniversary ads is showing 2020 rmz.
That doesn't sound good for people waiting for big changes on the 2021 models...

Could be that they are trying to move as much 2020 products as possible first.
8/15/2020 10:38am
Everyone talking shit on the Suzuki but Kawasaki did the exact same thing going from their 2015 to 2016 model. Was the 16 Kawi an 08 bike? Obviously not.

Rode both of my bikes today back to back and came to the conclusion the ktm is going to go. I prefer the rmz. Anybody looking for one? 20.5 450 f.e. 6.4 hrs, enzo revalved fork and shock sprung for 265 lbs. Have orginal as well. 2 sets of plastics . Las Vegas, offers.

Purchased new, owned by ex-ase expert tech. Everything done per manual with care and snap-on digital torque wrench.

NOTHING is as funny as some dude with a 20.5 RE/WE 450 getting smoked by guy on a 10yr old RMZ450 and then blames it on the bike

Hard to beat them when they “pay you to play” on them with their awesome contingency program. Just hope it keeps going strong for 21.

this thread imediately came to mind with this shot lol

not bad having 3 suzukis in the top 10 off the start

Really the bike is only behind in weight and electric starting.

Id imagine RC4 could win still on his 2004 Crf450. Really 450s dont make anymore power than they used to and the RMZ has had its chassis sorted out for the last decade

and unlike other brands like Honda who as soon as they sort it out they change it drastically

Little did bit i heard from someone this week. Bike will be late. All new bike is set and done. No bng for 2020. There waiting out covid and having a late release. One thing he said that made it make more sense to me which I've wondered to was this. Why would they not go ahead and release the info on the bike if it was just another bng suspension setting update. Also jgr is Suzuki next year not gas gas. Take it for what it is. But he has given me spot on info far more than times then not.

So you’re saying the next time suzuki releases an RMZ450 it will be an all new model?

Instead of saying someone tells me bla bla...
2021 bikes are supposed to hit dealers next month, so dealers should already pre order them...
Just go to your local dealer and ask them about availability of the 2021.
It's pretty simple!

Most talks of new bikes are pure speculations to me...but i understand the idea of dreaming about new rmz !
P.S : if you're wainting out covid to be sorted out, then you can wait a long time...

1 Suzuki in the top 10 at the end of the race. 2 Suzuki's in the top 20 at the end of the race.

If the aRMy is gonna claim that means nothing, its the rider. Then why brag about a holeshot?

I have been hearing something similar from my contact. That there is a new bike with E start, more HP,less LBS and some suspension updates as well as wifi tuning. They just didnt know if they could get it out BC of Corona. All I can say is if history is any indicator the longer it is before we see it the better the chance of getting a new bike.
Soooo we wait and we are on page 23 with 0 picts of a new 2021. LMAO

Here's what happens with all manufacturers, including Suzuki:

-R&D guys design an all-new bike. It will be intended for 2-3 years in the future.
-A timeline is set out for 1st prototype, 2nd prototype, and pre-production units. There may be changes to specs between all those versions. Each version is tested and evaluated.
-Assuming the above goes well, the manufacturer will continue with start of production. Release happens within a few months of SOP.

If at any time during this process (which may take 3 full years,) there are problems with the evaluations, the supply chain (ahem,) or the market conditions, the dates may get pushed back or the release even scrapped.

If there is no mention of a new 2021 version by now, I would guess that the '21s will be BNG. (My guess could be wrong, of course.) Rest assured there is a kick-ass new Suzuki being developed; they simply haven't decided if it will be a '21 '22 or '23 yet. Wink The same is true of the KX, SX-F, YZ, and CRF models.

One would think with it being halfway through August, if it was just BNG that Suzuki would have released it already. Granted, COVID screwed just about everything up, but you'd think BNG would have been announced.

That's a really good deduction, as well. Then again, it could be that they decided to go BNG and are now waiting on 1,500 kickstarters from their manufacturing plant.

Kinda sorta! Some portions are developed 2-3 yrs in advance but typically as for complete bikes they develop about a full yr ahead basiclly when they release the next yrs bike is on the drawing board and going threw engineering. they build proto types durring the yr to test in secret then have a final version to race in the Jap nationals. If you look at Suzuki history they typically will be later if they have big changes. You bring up a good point that if suppliers cant deliver then that could put a nix on things and with Corona who knows??????

Interesting thing I saw on Suzuki's website....wonder how many 2020 owners in the USA know this:

MX-Tuner 2.0:

*A purchase of a new 2020 RM-Z450 model (MSRP: $8,999) or 2020/2019 RM-Z250 model (MSRP: $7,899) in the continental United States (excluding HI) will include a Suzuki MX-Tuner 2.0 unit (ARV: $599.95) and Battery Wire (ARV: $29.95). MX-Tuner for off-road use only. May be combined with other current retail incentives so long as all conditions are met. See your local Suzuki dealer for details. Offer effective from a participating authorized Suzuki dealer between 08/01/2020 and 09/30/2020.

People forget that suzuki needs to bring two new bikes, estart 250 and estart 450! Normally for the Japanese, it's the 450 first, than one year later the 250...
So don't dream too much! They need plenty of r&d time!
Other thing, for the 450 2021 shoutouts, I read in Instagram that they are waiting for the Honda and the suzuki. They didn't mentioned that the suzuki would be late or missing...

And what kind of dude takes to Internet forums to defend a brand of dirtbikes. I bet you get mad pussy.

What was really great is the announcer said "...and Suzuki 1 and 2 out of the gates...that just shows those who question the Suzuki's horsepower or abilities..."

I guess he was just sexually frustrated.
