In every race so far in Latvia in the end of the moto average 15 guys in one minute. Absolutly no room for errors, one tip over, and 10 guy goes past. In the last MXGP race first three was in 2 secSmile
Those rounds delivered. Heh the first rounds wasn't snoozefest either. I love this series

But he perfectly knows how to spot talent.
Is there actually one rider who proved him wrong?

First 2 are doing really well and Strijbos is never been healthy since.

Everts picked up Jasikonis cos he was cheap, and had been doing well as a privateer on a 250.. i commentated on Jasikonis when he was in the UK , and he wasnt a very big guy, then he just seemed to shoot up, and didnt really do anything of note till he got on a 450, even though he was very very young when he did.

Its one thing spotting talent, but the fact that Everts had to buy a team to stay in the paddock, and then they pulled the plug on him says a lot, as did him finishing his time with Yamaha , and then going to KTM , and then being shuffled out.

Someone knows why, but lots of people are saying nothing, great rider, no doubt about it, but has struggled to grasp hold of anything long term after that ... i hope he doesnt get in Liam's way too much .

Not even 10 minutes in and Facchetti looks tired?

I can understand why he isn't the perfect guy for running a team.
I think he's very hard on his riders , it's probably his way or the highway...
He's a 10x champ, so i'm guessing he hasn't any reason to doubt his own program.
That doesn't mean it works for anybody else, i know.

What i noticed today is that Liam's jumping technique is a bit "old skool". It seems like he's a bit higher in the air compared to other riders. Something i also noticed at the end of Stefan's career.
I'm wondering if stefan is al about efficiency and doesn't really believe in alcthe scrubbing, i don't really know.

250.

Equivalency is in place in EMX250. It has been since, I think, 2015.

I still wonder what capacity the 2T I've seen in the EMX 'Open" races has been. You'd hope it could be at least a 300.

Fredriksen got docked 5 places due to too much dB's. This means Benistant takes the overall with 1-3 over De Wolf's 2-2.

Liam is still a small guy for a 250F and the jumps there are well rutted up the faces, i think he is just playing it safe.

Its a fast class, he is doing OK .

Pretty good change Benistant got himself a Factory ride with Yamaha for next year alongside Geerts, by the results and speed he showed this week.

Impressive rides by the kid.

Yes a lot of privateers/very small teams. Tim Edberg for example.

Crazy to think he and Everts battled through their minbike careers and now DeWolf seems to be way faster.
Kind of similar to last year. But i must say Everts has been pretty impressive in 250 for a 2nd year 125 rider.

Is it just me or has there been an abnormal amount of these too high db and a some other penalties during the week.

TKO put in some laps in free practice, but nowhere to be seen in timed practice. Strange.

Pardon my ignorance to this but is the qualifying different? I thought they did Saturday/Sunday schedule but they're doing like a 30 minute qualifying thing right now.

Yes this session determines the gate pick for the motos later on. Shortens schedule due to Covid. All packed into one day.

What a bummer for TKO, 3 years in a row top 3 in the championship. Now with Prado in mxgp it should be his turn, or at least a shot at the tittle.... But all he has is bad luck..

TKO out for today.

I had a feeling Boisrame could put up a fight to Vialle and Geerts today after his rides so far but he’s having a nightmare.

Looked like he collided with the lapper in the air... damn.

Nice work by Haavisto to completely mess everything up for the leaders while a lap down riding completely alone. Sometimes I just can’t understand how clueless the lappers are of what’s going on around them, considering they have probably been cursing at lappers quite a bit during their careers since they have gotten to this level.
