As an update, we camped Saturday night and had no problems. Everybody that works here is super-cool, and it's really a nice facility. I have never heard of any problems at this place, so people should feel fine camping here. It was a race weekend but there were only like three trailers camping, including myself.
Also went over to Yuba City to the grocery store and everybody we talked to was cool as could be. So two thumbs up on my experience. Track was really busy on Sunday but they run a pretty smooth operation at MMX.

An event was held at MMX and 7 bikes were stolen between the times of 3 am and 7:30 am. This is a common occurrence . They cut the locks from different campsites.  One bike , which had starter problems, was recovered over by a bridge a mile away.

We are hoping to have security at our next event. We are done with this !

What are the standards for defending yourself/property? Bikes get stolen every day in TX, but if caught in the act there are certain protections for the owner. Especially if at night. I assume these same standards do not apply in CA.

That’s a huge bummer. NGPC coming up too , I would def publicize that you’ll have security there. Last year multiple bikes were stolen at NGPC.

were these bike outside & just locked up? Or in a trailer/van?

Taken from a group on Facebook (not my post nor writing).

PLEASE SHARE, SPREAD THE WORD, KEEP YOUR EYES OUT IN MARYSVILLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR PEOPLE RIDING OR SELLING STOLEN BIKES IN NORCAL THEY WILL PROBABLY BE SPRAY PAINTED. Let's support each other we all work hard for our belongings.

What we know: the theives come in at around 4am and push the bikes out to the river bed.Across the river towards marysville, they use the railroad bridge to get them across the river, they came off the railroad tracks. They cut locks with big bolt cutters.
Someone did follow the tracks of the bikes being pushed down the river until they were far enough away to start them. Then ride to the train tracks and use the tracks to cross the river. Then using the levies to move about town to an area behind river front Mx.
6+ bikes were stolen last night (4 of them were locked up), 3/8/25 from Estreet/ marysville MMX track, one of our D36 committeemen, numbers 59X and 341K.

The 341K is a 21 Husky TE-150i- Tusk rear wheel. Brand new Tusk recon rear tire hadn't been ridden on. Tsp head and injector relocation kit/ecu. A dent in the pipe. Bent foot peg and if you take the seat of the plug for the fuel pump is zipped tied. Has moose bibs front and rear. The seat has white side with two different blues on top. Brand new chain, chain guides, and sprockets all blue in color.
The 59X is a 21 KTM 250 SXF.

Another bike stolen, 2017 YZ250 2stk, no graphics, with temp number plate 446F, oversized gas tank. Reach out to me also if found or see other scammy for sale posts with this bike too.

Also stolen a 2021 Beta xTrainer! My 2021 Beta xTrainer was also one of the ones stolen this weekend at AMA District 36 Yuba River at E Street MX. It's lowered 2", the left front cowl is black and doesn't match the rest of the plastic. Please keep a lookout for this bike!

**STOLEN DIRTBIKES**I was racing this weekend at @ama_d36 Yuba River at @estreetmxpark and this morning someone stole my 2022 KTM 350 EXCF and my 2023 Honda CRF125. Here are some photos I have of the bikes. They are distinctive with all the goodies on them and my race number (322g). Please keep an eye out and if you see these please reach out. Thank you!

Keep an eye out for scammy for-sale posts with these bikes, and notice me ASAP. And keep an eye out today around the E-Street/MMX area. Pic of a couple of the bikes

This is what’s currently trying to be pushed forward, so that about answers your question…..

Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur (D-Los Angeles) proposed Assembly Bill 1333, which “would eliminate certain circumstances under which homicide is justifiable, including, among others, in defense of a habitation or property,”

I personally could never take another life over a theft. But, I have no problem attempting to deter said theft. From what I understand, defending yourself/property is awfully convoluted in CA. Y'all stay safe out there.

CA will go out of it's way to protect the scum of society at the expense of the one's who actually make this economy exist. I will take my chances with prosecution if someone is trying to rip my stuff off, either at home or out and about, and it won't turn out well for the thief either way. People who steal other peoples things need to be dealt with properly.

That said, I cannot wait to move out of this liberal shit stain of a state.

Agree with you 100% on everything. Wish I would have got out of here 7 years ago when we had the chance, but that wasnt what was planned for us at the time.

One cool thing about thieves and tweakers - up to a point - they won’t call the cops.

Do what you gotta do haha

Some piece of shit stole my daughters pw50 out of a trailer park on the north shore of lake Elsinore a few years ago. Two months later it showed up on offer up all rattle canned .

We showed up as if to buy the bike for our “nephew “

I asked to test ride it - the tweaker was agreeable.

I rode down the street into the back of my waiting pickup and my wife drove off. It was priceless

I have taken on the task of finding private security for our MOTO families. Everyone will be able to sleep better knowing their are security guards watching out for us. 85 dollars an hour is so worth saving 60,000+ dollars of our working families hard earned money.

(all caps for the purpose of correcting my mistake )

I WAS JUST CORRECTED BY A RACER I SENT THIS TO . THE EVENT AND INCIDENTS TOOK PLACE AT E STREET.

I APOLOGIZE FOR MY MISTAKE. MMX  and E street are neighbors. I thought it was the same property.

The event was at E-Street where the bikes were stolen.... regardless... every track in Marysville or Yuba City has had bikes stolen in hours of darkness, locked, unlocked, daylight.. during races... broad daylight... the tweakers strike!
