loving the Dymond SM plate on the fridge, might do that with mine , been buried in a box far too long,, sweet place, you just cant do stuff like that here in the UK , my entire garden and driveway would fit in that garage . and its a big driveway

I did too. My daughter still has her front plate from the copper my jr.supermoto challenge in 2006.

never got to copper mountain , the track looked great fun, would have loved to have gone there.

The junior challenge was cool , the Alessi brothers rode at the Laguna Seca race ,we were in the same motel .

Mickey is a cool guy as well as an awesome rider/racer. He is still blazing fast. Mick is tight with one of my good buddies and I got to know him over the last 8 years. I had the opportunity to ride with Mick at the Grange Raceway in Apple Valley Ca back in '06. I rode one of his factory KTM supermoto bikes. What an experience that was! He is a badass! He kept coming up on me (to lap me of course) and would slam into my back tire in the corners to get me to go faster. It scared the shit out of me the first time, but it was pretty cool getting pushed by one of my childhood moto heroes. He's headed up here to Bend next week for an invitational Mountain bike race called the Blitz of Bend. If any of you guys are around the area it's quite an experience.

Ha! We're not going to rent it out at this point. My Father in law is going to live in it part time and we might try a vacation rental in the winter and see how that goes. Did you hear we are getting an official outdoor MX track at the Deschutes county fairgrounds in Redmond this summer?!

I saw that! Super pumped to hear they were bringing it back we could use a "public" track in Central Oregon. If they maintain it and listen to the riders I can see it being a busy spot.. I hope. Would be nice if they would run a series there so we don't have to drive over the valley every weekend!

Yeah , i got to race Mickey a few times, at the opening AMA Supermoto round in Laguna , we had a real good race, i had him covered on what bit of tarmac there was , and the dirt was hard to pass on , he made it by a few times , but didnt make it stick , and he tucked the front and slid off, it was pretty surreal to be honest, everyone was there , but it was early doors, some guys even had flat track tyres on , and like you , he was one of those guys you had read about and followed, and now to be on the track with him , and Mcgrath and Wardy amongst other was bizzarre.
He has been over to Mettet in Belgium a few times since , i am pretty sure he rode for the US team the year i did in 2003 , and he can still haul the mail even now.

You're telling me! I am tired of driving to the valley every weekend.... It's going to be few and far events in between at the start but if they do a decent job and we(the riders) do our part to support it , hopefully it will grow.

Hopefully they allow our input and we can volunteer for track work and the like. It's a good group of riders out here and plenty of fast guys to make a pretty good series if one gets started

Thanks man. We were just at Albany MX yesterday. The track was dialed! Central Oregon is nothing but a dust bowl for another month at least.

Right on! Was it a practice day? I haven’t ridden albany since the end of last summer, we’ve just been to busy this year. Let me know when you’re in this neck of the woods again, we’ll have to rip it up. Central Oregon is definitely a dust storm this time of the year. I tend to try and wait till early falls rain before I head over there..although if you give me a heads up I’d be more than willing to come give your track a test ride after the first rain Wink

I think we both owe a visit at this point? I have another FMX ramp to pick up in Prineville at some point might need to make a dual purpose trip...
