Travis Pastrana is on the Fax Sheppard Armchair Expert podcast. Haven't listened yet but the topics look interesting.

If you haven't listened to the Armchair Expert podcast yet, I recommend it. Not quite as good as Joe Rogan but top 5 long form interview shows for sure.

Would having Travis on the joe Rogan Experience be a good thing or bad? I’d personally love to hear it but I’m sure they’d talk about injuries for at least an hour

I would love to hear that interview either way. Travis has been the best personality for MX since...well, ever.

Why do I care about some 3-digit loser who had to go do charley horses in freestyles to make a buck?

Think he ever gets tired of hearing the same old questions at every interview? Its gotten to the point where hes had the same answers for so long its almost robotic in his response.

It would go about like the Dale Jr one. They would talk about concussions and injuries the whole time. I really like the JRE but he always misses the mark with guys like this. He doesn’t know much about the sport and relates everything back to the UFC.

I agree. Joe Rogan’s problem is he “thinks” he’s Uber smart when he isn’t.

It's Joe Rogaine. He sells hair products

I thought it was a great interview and touched on some personal aspects that most moto interviews don't. Best takeaway for me was Travis still being sharp as a whip after all those concussions.

Dax shepherd may be a better interview for Travis than Rogan. Dax is into moto and goes to tracks and out to glamis and understands two wheels a bit better, and most importantly stays on the topic of interviewing the guest and doesn't go off on tangents about what ever he is into that week. If the topic of discussion isn't immediately in Joe Rogan's wheel house the interviews can be rough i.e. Kelly Slater and Tony Hawk.

I agree with all of this. Dax did a good interview with Travis. Obviously it's nothing close to what we would get with Ping and Grant, or Pulp, but he knew enough to keep me interested. Travis is probably the perfect guy for this type of interview with his level of intelligence being off the charts for a MX'r.. I could listen to Rogan talk to a UFC fighter or a comedian all day long. Listening to him talk to Tony Hawk about fitness, that was unbearable.

i dont get that vibe off him what so ever and would have listened to 50+ pods this year, he covers such a broad range of people, is he suppose to know everything about every topic in the world then? he does a great job for the amount of different content he has to cover.

Dax Shepard has an excellent podcast and has had some really bright and influential people on his show. I was really excited to her he was having Pastrami on. Dax loves moto so this makes it cool-going to listen tomorrow. And Dax himself does a great job.

G.Baily vid of Daytona 2000 heat race, Travis on his 125. That is a guy having fun riding and ripping.
Don’t you think that must be 2001?
