He didn't make top 38 at Hangtown and got in first turn pileup in 450 qualifying, thus eliminating him unfortunately.

Know he had been riding in NorCal.

Not sure he's made the cut at the last couple rounds. I've seen him on the track in practice.

He's getting there. Had some major bike set up problems at Glen Helen.
Crash at Hangtown. Still getting some motor stuff worked out. He'll be ready for Freestone this weekend.

Or maybe alot has changes since then! His dad's passing and his mechanic being hit by a car. Maybe he's working hard to put together a strong program without two of the people whom he trusted the most and maybe that isn't as easy as you think it is.

He has a really good attitude, he's just trying to get the right program and people around him. He did say he probably felt the best he's ever been on a bike at Hangtown but a slipping clutch got the better of him from being able to qualify.
He laughed and said guys were running past him Woohoo

Man I hate to see guys like this struggle. To have run inside the top 15 consistently recenly and then drop to missing two gates is a pretty huge fall.

Gavin has had a very rough life, After loosing the girl of hif dreams he had to suffer the death of his fauther Gary grayck witch was my trainer and even more he was family. The grayck family is one of a kind and im sure if you had the chance to meet them you wouldnt be asking if he was a cheater. Iv been doing some training with gavin and he hasnt lost his speed but unfortunatly gavin twisted his ancle at the works race 3 weeks befor his first outdoor national and only had a week of riding befor the first round. Hes back home now with his mom training harder than ever and will surely turn things around shortly. Keep gavin in your prayers. If you have any question just let me know
