NBC Gold Package - Pro Motocross

Edited Date/Time 7/2/2020 5:34pm
Today my auto renew subscription for the outdoors series was posted on my charge. $54.99 plus tax.

How many rounds can I expect to be broadcasted? Will there be a credit offered for less than a regular season? Looking forward to what rounds do happen.

...remember, there are also 4 + seasons of AMA national MX racing replays on NBC Sports to watch and learn from if live racing doesn't happen this year.

Re-watching and learning technique from the some of the best racers in the world sure helps me out, so if its 54 bucks or whatever for last season's replays, I'm still down with that...

I can truthfully say that I never go back and watch a replay. Just no interest.

They can have my $55

Everyone is struggling, not going to nickel and dime people because the races are postponed or a few rounds less

I get why some want a refund but I bought the full season, got the discount, and watched all the SX races so I'm with you on this. I'd like to see the outdoor races but if not it's no big deal.

I understand as well, but, and I am just guessing, the prorated amount for it being a few events short isn't that much, not to mention likely falls under force majeure

I bought the SX/MX package and they can keep my money-I'm not rich by any means but I do go back and watch previous seasons of MX-NBC Gold has consistently delivered for me and their quality has been excellent. I'm good. I've spent 70-80 USD in far worse ways over the years.......

I'll be keeping mine as long as they put in the effort to have all the replays available. People are struggling for business in all of this, so we try to keep the money flowing where we can. When we all try to pull back, that's when the whole financial system collapses. Its $55 (or less with the MX/SX package). Its worth it IMO. Our son has a private trainer we have him working with for workouts, fitness, etc. When the gyms were closed, we kept paying him to keep him financially whole even though he couldn't do the work outs. Once his gym opened back up, he made up the workouts by doing 2 per week additional on top of normal workouts. IMO, we should all do our best to keep the money flowing, assuming you have the financial means to do so. Certainly there are those folks out there struggling to make ends meet financially due to less or no work, and its very understandable when they cancel. We're blessed in our business to be essential and busy. So doing our part to help others out. Lots of carry out food from our favorite restaurants too.

Would you pay $25 per round to watch 8 rounds at Iron Man with track variations like SLC? Promoters get a cut MX sports and NBC? I would.

Where online did you chat to them? I've emailed, sent a Facebook and Instagram message asking for a refund as I didn't know auto renew was on but haven't had a reply yet

I'm leaving my subscription as is. As a lucky Canadian, I get to buy the Supercrosslive.tv pass for SX and then NBC Gold for outdoors with the shitty Canadian exchange rate to boot! (I know some use a VPN and get the NBC combo deal). Whatever, .it's a few bucks. I don't feel like I need to rush out and cancel it and I am still hopeful we get to see 6 outdoor rounds as per the podcast Antonovich did with Tim Cotter on Swapmotolive.

Shit I have MotoGP, MXGP, SXLive, NBC Gold, and Flo Bikes for cycling. It sucks that this year is on hold....but I value these services and want to support them.

I posted this in the other thread and didn't get much response, except for one person having the same issue.

Does anyone know how/where I can go to watch past seasons of MX on NBC Sports Gold? I have a valid subscription, but when I go to all of the replays and select Pro Motocross as the sport all I see is 2 nationals from 2019 and 1 from 2018, I can't seem to find all of the previous seasons races. Thanks in advance!

I have to access through the NBC Sports Gold "International" path, but when I go there using my MacBook and Google Chrome, I see all the races from 2017-2019. Some are not labelled by year and they are out of order a bit, but they are there. I tested that I could load Hangtown from 2017/18/19 and all worked.

I'll test with the app and report back.

EDIT: Just tested with iPad using the app and I see all the races 2017-19 there as well. Again, I may be accessing slightly differently as I am an international customer.
