I shipped off my brakes for some cerakote treatment. Going with a burnt bronze on the calipers and graphite grey for the hangers. Should be pretty dope.

Why didn’t someone tell me this would be a money pit and not just a simple clean and rebuild??? Cool

How many would you like? Not sure what shipping would cost to the UK, but it can't be much. I can supply you with a few of them if you would like.

That would be great if you could? I only need the one as it’s for the bike I’m currently building Smile

Just a heads up but you can still get these from Fowlers. They're on back order but I got one for my 03 mid last year. Took a few weeks...

Here's my OEM build..

A couple small updates...

I got the triple clamps on, bars and later mounted the asv clutch lever but was bummed that my forks just fall out when the clamps are tightened as far as they will go. These were supposed to be a direct fit for my bike and I’ll need to sort that out.

I also reassembled my shock and put it in place.

Sent you a pm. The triple clamps look awesome you just need bigger diameter forks! Wonder if you got newer crf clamps? How’s the engine rebuild going?

I was really expecting these to work with my stock setup. I would probably just end up going back to stock if these don't work out. The engine hasn't been touched in awhile... I need to just start working on it. Its a bit intimidating but I just need to dive into it.

Some motor progress. I thought the kits I ordered came with all the bearings I needed but turns out they did not. Oh well. It’s just money. 😐

Bolted up a few parts. Some temporarily but I’m getting impatient and want to see this thing take some shape.

A bit slower than I would have liked but I’m happy with what’s done so far. Vapor blast is key to this build. Nexus Blasting here in Washington state does such a killer job.

Nothing wrong with slow. My CR125 build is into its third year. After seeing more and more builds using Vapor blasting I might even need to take some parts back off and get them blasted

It makes such a difference. I spent hours trying to clean the parts myself and you can see the pics prior to vapor blasting, that is the best I could do. Easily the best purchase on this build so far.

You aren't to far from me all things considered. I'm in Federal Way down south. Bikes looking great BTW.
