Couldn’t find a thread about the latest pulp show so here I am. Listening to Sexton on Pulp mentioning the shit that Star Racing was trying at SLC has me embarrassed to own a Yamaha.
The SwapMoto/Pulp thing was unprofessional but funny in a way, but then we move onto the riders messing with Chase all day before the finale, taking Chase’s gate before the main, and then protesting his fuel after he’s won the championship.
All these things point to a toxic culture in the team, to throw your toy out of the pram after the season was won and done is disgusting.
Who makes these sort of calls or has such a negative influence on a team to make it act this way? Is it one person in particular that puts on this sort of display as a team? I had a friend yesterday say something like “well you own a Yamaha you must be all for that sort of shit”
I’m pretty brand loyal and came into the sport when MC’s factory Yamaha was the holy grail, so to have a team represent the brand in a childish way is embarrassing. I’m frickin glad McElrath had nothing for Chase.

But yes your right it takes more than a team to represent a whole brand, but they do represent the brand never the less, they’re the factory 250 team, right?

You are allowed to be pissed, I would be if I was Geico but to be embarrassed to own a Yamaha is taking it too far.
To much of this happening lately - Cancel culture refers to the popular practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive.Cancel culture is generally discussed as being performed on social media in the form of group shaming.
Can’t get Yz cuz of star.
Can’t get a KTM cuz Webb yells at people on the gate
Husky has parts falling off all time
Suzuki..... kick starter, nuff said
Well the way I see it you should get a Honda because they have Christin Craig and he is teammates with the LAWRENCE BROTHERS!!
This is just venting after being embarrassed for a brand that I’ve loved for years after their factory team showed their lack of morals and sportsmanship.
But yeah, point taken, gonna have to buy a Beta I guess
I've learnt long time ago to ignore the trivial shit life throws at us...and have since lived alot happier.
Pit Row
Here’s a flip side to it, do you think Yamaha are happy with their brand being represented in such a way? I know Matthes has touched base on the swap moto saga that Yamaha were absolutely not happy with it. What makes you think they’re fine with their shitty tactics over the weekend?
Or you could ride it, enjoy it, and not be so sensitive.
You are sounding like Gretta Thundberg now..or whatever her name is.
If you are really that unhappy with Yamaha then send your banking details....ill give you a $100 for your bike and I'll pay for shipping.
That ain't nothing. Check this out:
