Dude has had tons of chances to prove what he has for speed, and..... I hope they give someone new a chance...

Dylan won't be scared of the YZ450 or the factory team. He has a certain Frenchman in his corner that will carry a lot of influence in that environment and on bike setup.

KTM, which is understood to have a big interest, could be less attractive if the Baker/Florida program is a firm requirement.

Since the star Yamaha 250 is so dialed and with lots of power. How do you guys think Dylan would do lining up for a 450 main event in his current bike?

Yes, whenever I see 250 riders with lap times that would put them in the top 3 or 5 of 450 lap times, I have to wonder. But we will never find out as none of the OEMs are going to want one of their 250s to finish ahead of one of their 450s - wouldn't look good.

Of course MXON is another story completely.

A kitted 250 could be very interesting indeed

One has been racing pro for two years now or so. I saw the younger one at a open practice Saturday and he is no where near pro level speed. So no sure where you think they are relevant to this thread.
It was a simple question, christ. They have support from Rock River, i dont follow them much so i asked a simple question

One of them has been for a couple of years. No offense to those guys at all, but they aren't getting a Star ride.

Never mind. I see this has already been answered.

Stock bore and stroke. Can't race a big bore 250 in the 450 class.

This has been going on since the 125 and 250 days. Nothing new to see their. The difference now is how powerful the 450’s are.

The Baker program is not a requirement, the rider choose to go for it, and then Aldon give his agreement, or not.

McElrath on the other hand signed a multi year deal with Star Yamaha.

I'm just glad we'll have another top rider moving up to the 450 class.
Was curious if I have my facts straight on McElrath or not. If he was sat down last year by TLD, will he not point out after the year he has had? Does he get the right to defend if he were to win the title?

With Ferrandis and Mcelrath moving up, Star should go after the Lawrence brothers..

He's pointing out regardless of if he wins the title or not. If he wins the title, he won't get to defend it because he's been in the class more than 3 years.

Jett has been locked by Honda Geico.

For Hunter it could be a good choice, both sides IMO.

I would like to hear what Will Hahn has to say about this on the PULP show.

Oh wait....someone ruined that for us.

What's the latest on this 450 team deal? Read some bits from peeps in the know and it's sounding like new extra stickers are going to be added to the new rig supplied and payed for by Yamaha?
