I ride everything from deep mud to semi hard packed moto tracks. I'm looking for some advice on what tire will perform good on all terrain and last a while.

Dunlop Geomax MX33. I am very confident with this tire in all conditions. The tracks are usually cut deep and are over watered in the morning/ first motos. Other tracks are not cut as deep and in the afternoon/ second moto become hard packed and blue groove. The MX33 has been very durable and I recommend it to every rider that is looking for a multi condition tire.

A medium tire is your all around choice. You cant go wrong if you choose a good tire brand. Avoid the shinkos and kendas out there. I prefer dunlop. The starcross tires are really good too.

I really like the Pirelli MX32 Mid Softs for a good all around tire.

Hoosiers imx30
Bottom line they are 1-2 pounds less of rotating mass and unsprung weight than any other tire. No other performance mod can provide that change to your bike.

My 2nd favorite is pirelli
3rd is starcross 5

I certainly don't change my tires between tracks and don't know anyone that does but I have seen it happen for bigger events.

Someone quick make a statement about how less weight doesn't affect the bikes performance.

I would like to try the Hoosiers but am hesitant since they don't make a 100/90-19 and I'm on a 125.
Wondering if the lighter weight would negate the extra drag from the larger size.

I can notice two pound lighter wheels on my old project Audi. I can’t wait to put Hoosiers on my 450..
