He looked good this weekend.

Always the debate USA vs the World, I'm not convinced he could match those results over seas.

How many times has Brownie raced Glen Helen again??? Oh yeah, isn't he from the US as well?

Didn't he win a moto over there in MX1?

I don't know. I was shocked he was even out there. Mike Brown is one of my favorite riders of all time, great to see him do so well!

No, I didn't, but I was happy to see him do so well.

Certainly didn't expect to see him finish ahead of Shorty.

I think it was at the Japanese MX1 G.P. a couple of years back.

I would have to agree Jay, he's tried many times and the GPs were just not working out for him.

Some on here seem to think the GP's are a cake walk.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, it's just different racing to a certain degree.

I think the conditioning the WORCS series brings showed alot this weekend, most of those guys did very well on the roughness Glen Helen brought Saturday......

I dont think the 450 class in the US is as "stacked" as what people want to believe.

I wont be surprised by years end looking over the results and seeing MA RV and CR on the box pretty much every week and a rather big gap to 4th. Of course there will be the odd flash in the pan ride by someone, but hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile, right?

Do you think the podium at the GP's would look the same as here if those 3 were doing the GP's? I also think you have to add Grant in that mix.

Hard to say, would definately add Cairoli in the mix. They have a lot of guys out with injuries at the moment. Very rarely does a guy from the US go over there and dominate straight away in the GP,s. Likewise a GP rider going to the US and dominating straight away.

I would love to see Cairoli mix it up with those 3. I would be curious to see how the AMA would treat his aggresive style.
You're right Steve, he was on fire.

I think if he got the starts he got on Sunday, yes he could finish 7th overall at a GP
He would not have got 7th last Sunday with mid pack starts.
Great ride for him though and he will keep the #3 for another year

Yeah, he could get 7th O/A in one GP having ridden like he did Saturday. We've seen some pretty ordinary 6th place finishes in Euroland. If your point is that the MX1 guys are looking good this year, I agree, the top guys seem to be hauling right now.

Brownie rode GH well.
He did the # 3 justice.

It was a great ride by him, and I have always been a fan of his. Anybody remember a few months ago all the complainers who said he should hang up his boots when he raced a SX. I am glad Brown didn't listen. Hope he races a few more outdoor races.

At the end of the day, he gets the #3 for 2 more years.

Good ride!

I think with all the injuries now hed do it but at the start of the season Im not so sure. Check the quality of rider outside the top 10 in Bulgaria. Shame about the injuries, Ive never seen anything like it!

If they held the GP1 race at Glen Helen, then the answer would be a definite yes.

Yeah, how does that work exactly that they call it a "world" championship but don't have a race in the largest moto nation in the "world"? Interesting that one.

I beliive it goes to more countries than the World Baseball series...

There was supposed to be a US round this year remember. I also understand that there hasn't been a round in America for some time because the US fans couldn't be bothered to turn up to watch.

I think Brown was 7th at the end of the 2007 season - and until he quit GP's half way through last year he was consistently the fastest starter. He wasn't getting such great results last year though.

too funny, the Euros that come here are the top guys, experienced guys, like Searle and Pourcel. We should send Windham , Ferry , etc. or some of our next level guys over and bring home a few championships. Barcia , Canard, and the rest of our young guns will give the invaders all they can handle. The Euros always seem to forget what happens everytime we send a team to the Des Nations? the last time we sent ou rtop guy to Europe was in the 70's when Lackey went over and quickly became a top rider at a time when Europe ruled MX.
