Kawasaki I Beam Swingarm

Edited Date/Time 4/9/2020 5:28pm
Anyone remember any models with those. A friend of mine had a KLX250 two stroke that had one in the early 80s. Mainly remember that about the bike. Any other Kawi's use one like the KX line? If so was it a fad, or just phased out when single shocks took over?

Newmann,

What year and model bike is that on? 280driver is correct, that looks like a works arm from about 83-84 based on the black frame and billet dog bone. Did you get your hands on a works bike? Cool

Bought it from some guy here in Texas named Kent.

Said he used to pull holeshots with it.

Nice. Hadn't seen that one before. Kent told me that when the engineers from Japan came over to help set the bike up they kept asking him if it had enough horsepower. He said it was good but they kept asking. They told him they could get 80hp if he needed it. Yikes...
