He impressed the hell out of us. To lead one moto is great, but leading both is amazing, especially in a debut ride. I think he probably led the most laps on the day too.

I didnt believe the hype, but I do now.

He just needs to get used to running that pace for 30 minutes. In the second moto he posted his fastest lap on the first lap while Dungey posted his on lap 7 or something. Still, I think he had the fastest lap time of the moto. Very impressive.

He was impressive in the 1st moto. Stayed out front an was holding his own against quite a bit of pressure. Man those guys are fast. Watching Yamaha Hill from next to the fast straight was insane. All of the riders were just flying, doubling the jump half way down and beginning to brake as they hit the back of the second jump. The ruts in the practice were almost as deep as the shrouds in the turn at the bottom of the hill.

Barcia was hauling for 3/4's of the moto's, if he can do that for the whole race he will be almost unbeatable!!....Hopefully he can keep from blowing up a motor too

not as much, I was watching the 1st moto live and noticed (i wouldn't hear well though) that I didn't hear one yet, then I heard a couple panic revs and laughed a bit. he made it work though.

Anybody who can be that fast, and lead both moto's for the amount of time he did on their FIRST professional national- Will be wiping these boys asses by the end of the season pretty easily.

-In fact I wouldn't to to sure that he wont be cleaning up within a few races.

I said it months ago that he'll be the fastest rider to ever come out of NY...got some slack for it but it's going to be hard not to agree with me after rides like yesterday. Congrats and well deserved. The kid works hard, has boat loads of talent, great attitude & comes from a good family.

Its good to see someone from NY laying it down ( no disrespect to Bobby K and Paul C)
As soon as he gets used to the extra 10 minutes He's gonna be a huge threat.

Where did all the "top 20 maybe" folks go. I have watched this kid at LL the last cpl of years. Thought he was going to come out strong, I just didn't know it was going to be that strong.

the kid is wicked fast........i knew that, and was counting on him showing that, but what impressed me the most was is way of comming back and holding it for the 2º heat......
doing fast laps is all about gift.......doing 3º in the 2º heat of glen helen national is a huge work......!!!!!
hats off for justin........i have to be honest an say i was not expecting this, i was sure he'd show is speed...but comming back from just loosing it and ended 9º in the last laps.......to hold it and do 3º..........excelent...!!!!!!!

Mills and Sheak just took their shirts off......

I have said it many times, Justin is a great kid with an equally great family supporting him. He deserves and has earned everything that he has. He was impressive yesterday.

great job by the young lad, looks like a contender by mid series but will take him some time to run 30 plus 2 with pourcel and tyla.
