Please tell me this is a bad attempt at a joke?
I have an idea, let’s hold the rest of the SX races on the moon, the likelihood is the same, but there is no Covid-19 on the moon, the triples will be huge, softer landing = less injuries, no need to cart in extra sand for the sand section. That moon dust will do just fine.

I have so many questions.

What is the number of signatures you are aiming to obtain?

Are you thinking full cancellation of the NFL or just push them back to less desirable time slots?

Once it has all of the signatures that you deem necessary who would it be sent to? Are we thinking the heads of NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, AMA, Feld, and ESPN?

How do you think Roger Goodell is going to handle seeing the literal HUNDREDS of people that want this done? immediate resignation or will he just off himself?

Do you know what money is, how it works, and what people will do for it?

Not that this idea to replace football will ever become reality.... the fat/drunk American "rabid fan" needs their bread and circuses....

However...my fear for MX/SX is that they will get polluted like most mainstream sports do. Right now, MX/SX is still somewhat a "family" sport filled with honorable athletes. Not murderers, wife-beaters, rapists and overpaid whiners.

In all seriousness, I am excited to see how these SX, and maybe even some MX, events do when they are pushed into the fall. The sentiment has always been that they could never or would never compete with football.. and now we get to see how it plays out. I hate having this unexpected break, but it will be a fun fall and hopefully a shorter offseason.

im not holding breath that they can actually pull the events off in the fall. We will see but no football or baseball stadiums that are in use will allow track builders to come in on a bye week or when the team is traveling to build a SX track. Maybe St Louis is an option but I think Feld is just kicking the can right now with no idea if they can actually make it happen.

Let’s be real here, do you really think the powers to be are going to prioritize SX over football?
Football is the biggest sport in the US yeah? Where would SX come on that list? 100th maybe?
I love SX, and couldn’t give a toss about football, but I understand where we sit in the pecking order.
