Best moto video game?

I haven’t really invested a ton of time in moto games since Mx vs ATV Untamed days so I’m kind of out of the loop with the newer ones. Which one is the best though? Is there any good ones? Or should I just stick to forza and 2k?

MX Bikes has the potential to become really, really good. The community is still small and there isn't much content yet. And this is only for PC.

If you want more arcade games the newest Supercross game is good (MES3) and there is an upcoming MXGP game from the same people behind the Supercross games.

I would recommend that you go on youtube and search for Start Your Systems. Kellen Brauer is the owner of that channel and he does a fantastic job with covering all moto games on both PC and consoles.

Whaaat?! Mx bikes looks insane. I need to get a pc ASAP. I’m downloading monster energy supercross 3 right now though. Too bad all I have is Mac.

Is their a reason why MX Bikes could be or is better than MX Sim


From everything ive seen it just looks like an inferior version of that

Sim looks arcady to me. In most of the online play I see it looks like they are going 80mph through rhythm sections. Mx bikes is more slowed down and the camera angle looks perfect (not 30 feet away from the rider). The only knock I would have on Mx bikes besides the two stroke sound is it looks a tad floaty. I haven’t played sim for a long time, I’m sure it still kicks ass, but mx bikes looks like the moto game you would expect to see in 2020.

And MX Bikes is VR compatible. It's absolutely insane to rip around the Stewart compound in the VR headset (i have the Oculus Rift).

During all this I found my Playstation 2 in the attic and tore it apart and cleaned all the dust out. It looks brand new now. Been playing MX vs ATV Unleashed, Offroad Fury 2, and MX Unleashed. If only you could port those tracks into today's games! There's some gems in there for track layouts. Going to break out MX 2002 tonight

I was youngling (without any english knowledge or decent internet) when i got a hold of this piece.

Stopped playing when i discovered MX vs. ATV Unleashed (someone made Bellpuig GP track there and it was my jam fam...) and i also started to mod my MCM2 at the dusk of my playtime with loads of extra horsepower and was quite shocked realizing that it made my lap times slower. (Young whippersnapper was just grasping the concept of traction and not bouncing like a fool)

I really envy you guys... reading the stories of OC Scottie and others it had to be blast back then.

ive played all the games, all of them. from arcade to simcade to simulator. ive played them all extensively. imo, the best motocross game, for first person view riding...is MX Bikes.this is strickly from a physics/riding experience perspective. i dont really care about career modes and all that jazz. imo, this game gives the most realistic riding experience ie speed, acceleration, weight distribution, cornering and the sorts. i dont play the game in third person, so i cannot comment on the experience in that view. when you put alot of time into a simulator and you become decent/good at the game, arcade games just dont seem fun to me anymore. the best thing about this game is that the community is growing, some of the best tracks ever made have just been released recently (Hill Valley MX) and the devs continue to work on the game and release content. check out some of my videos











the next beta is about to be released too.

MX Unleashed to me will always be the best game. The way you worked your way up from amateur to pro was incredible. If they could take that game and update the graphics, add in track deterioration, and of course add in the body weight features, that game would sell big time today. AI needs to be a lot better too. The tracks in that game are incredible. It had a realistic effect too when block passing people. Now it seems like every game when there’s contact rear tire to front tire, the front tire guy just spins him out. In that game it didn’t happen like that. Also they gave you the white flag which I really wish the games now did that. I’m in an online battle sometimes and then it’s over. Would like to know it’s the final lap. All in all it was a really incredible game with an unmatched career path as well as some amazing tracks and realistic rider contact. The money I’d give for that game to be updated.

Where did you hear about a upcoming mxgp game? The last they said to me on their Facebook page was nothing is in the works?

Go with Mx vs atv all out if you liked their older games. I personally play the crap out of the milestone ones though

Mx bikes or sim if you’re on pc

Mxgp 2019 is probably my all around favorite since you can make tracks even though there’s no elevation changes, manual transmission is a must

If you have Xbox Live, MX Unleashed is $3.00 and some tax for a digital download. It does not appear to be updated or anything, but it runs just fine on my Xbox One.

That video used to get me so excited to ride when I was a kid 😂 I remember it was snowing outside my window, and I was riding in snow on the game jumping ski-jumps

ATV Off-road Fury 2 was a fun game too, even tho it was a quad game. The St. Croix Sound islands had fun lil island tracks

Good god it's been a long time since I've seen that video. Literally brought chill bumps lol that intro used to get me so hyped when I was just a little guy becoming more and more obsessed with moto. Good recall post there, great times.
