Too short of notice for Friday. Some riders aren't flying in until tomorrow evening. Some of the semis don't even park until Friday this week.

Let's think outside the box here...Saturday/Sunday?

What options do they have. I don't know how long they have the stadium rented for, but I would imagine they still have it for Sunday.

I'm on board with this Jay. There is one big hiccup here though.........will Feld pay to rent a stadium and not be able to get any money back , from no spectators? I'm sure they paid in advance , but the fans are what pay for everything else , and it's how Feld stays in business. Again......I don't know how the operate , but I don't see them doing that more than once or twice.

More than likely any double headers will be Sat/Sun

Sunday start times may be a little subject to where they can find a spot on NBCSN to fit into

I realize you guys think these races happen with the snap of a finger but there are WAY TOO MANY moving parts to even think about a double-header this weekend or even next weekend.

Teams need time to adjust for their behind-the-scenes stuff, coordinate staff accommodations/ flights, truck routes, etc.

Feld has to consider track build time for the following event, staffing, accommodations, etc.

Then consider, TV schedules, crew, etc.

Too much to list but it's not as simple as, "Hey let's start doing something completely unplanned and new this weekend."

Teams have to be at X # of race days per sponsorship contracts. If a team no shows, they violate the contract, that means no money

Two mains is still one race "day," not two

Since no spectators it would be rather easy ... not perfect ... to run two programs in one day. Shit for the mechanics but doable.
