ive got a really old suzuki tm and it wont start its got no air fllter is that why i wont start HELP

Then it runs....problem solved.....if not one of them is missing.

Compression....PSI?

New Sparkplug?

Carb clean?

Good Gas?

theres no air filter,when you kick it it dont start but when you put your hand over it it starts when you move hand it cuts out but i think its ready for a new spark though,what bike u got

Crank seals are probably shot and sucking air, in left side,and maybe trans oil in right side. By placing hand over carb opening you are creating vacuum sucking in enough fuel to start. Carb passages clogged?

Break some of this up with pronunciation, and maybe some one will understand what the bike is doing.

If it's a '76 or '77 RM, I'll buy it cheap and save you the headache.

Carb needs cleaned, and a red band installed on each of your rear shocks.
