I need a new pop up shelter. Anyone buy one recently for a good deal? My last one was from Checker and was like $59.00. The frame is still good how about replacement canopies?

Big 5, Wal Mart, OSH Hardware all have amazing deals on new one's but if you do find the canopy only as a replacement cheap enough....please pass on the info mine is getting pretty corroded as well

THey may not be EZ-ups but they are all almost the same these days as I believe the patent ran out on the design there are a LOT of companies producing them now ....e.g. Chinese Honda mini clones.

If you want one that last, stick w/ the EZ-ups. I bought mine at Academy for $140. My buddy has the knock-off version but it's already trashed and a pain to put up. Mine is still perfect.

I have bought a half dozen of the ones from Wal-Mart that are 10'x10' for $88. I really like them but don't leave them out in a rain storm, they will collapse and be ruined. I have lost a total of 3 of them that way over the last few years.

I raced the Whitney Memorial Day Classic one year, and there was a huge storm that blew thru that saturday night, and the next morning there was a HUGE pile of destroyed aluminum EZ-ups. They dont like bad weather at all.

We get ours at Costco, a little better quality but none hold up to a Arizona monsoon.

Place in Pomona California called Mac Sports. They have a parking lot sale a few times a year. I haven't bought one from them, but a friend did. The thing is huge, 100 bucks, it's like a garage. Next one I buy will come from there. These 10x10 just are not gig enough.

i collect trashed EZups that people leave behind at the track. i have a pile of frames that i use for spare parts. the last one i picked up had a perfect Suzuki canvas and one broken leg. it got repaired in about 10 minutes. there are so many brands though, i stick with EZups. the last one i bought was in 1994 when my son started riding Pro. i still have it.

Once at Whitney they brought in the Life Flight chopper. He hovered way the hell up waiting for people to secure things, dropping down a little at a time. Some people couldn't get the hint. As he started to land EZ Ups were going everywhere.

My EZ-UP got wrapped around my trailer in a storm folding 2 of the rods......I brace repaired it and 2 years later the top has finally given out with several rips. I just bought an aluminum one from Lowes for $199 but it is a lot wigglier than the steel EZ-UP was.

I got one from Dicks last year for $60, its a cheapo but if you aren't an idiot and you don't let it fill with water, and always stake it down you should be fine.

I started racing after a 13 year brake and it was the only thing i didn't have to buy when i started racing again in 2007, it is still in excellent condition. It ahs been in some monumental piss downs (rain storms) as well and has never sagged

EZ up factory is having a Mem day sale code MD1. Go into outlet with the printed add and it is a better discount.
