There's nothing worse than picking someone with a good practice time and then on the Podcast later realising the insiders knew something we didn't.

Current rider updates, relevant track updates and insider insight.

Current updates since last weeks debacle

Rider Update
AC - a bit banged up - 450

Out
Bogle - 450
Blose - 450
Craig - 250

In
Mcadoo - 250

Any update on the riders that went down last week? Zacho? Clout? Reed? Any other new people in for the race?

I've been fairly conservative too.. Haven't run two all stars yet, but if I was going to, it would be in the 450 class; where big points have been much harder to come by. (there's your tip :laughSmile

If you're that serious about it just pay the $5 to see expert picks If you really think they're withholding information.

There was just no 13s last week in the 250s

I’m currently at 931 points total, you?

570... Top 100 is my goal for this year; but if "the plane goes into the mountain" one round, I'll be sending it for weekly prizes lol

Is it just picks, or is there a specific expert chat thread as well?

It just shows their icons on the right hand side of the picks area each week. Thats all I have seen. It does really help me though on some of the "long shots".

Oakland is probably going to be soft, rutty, technical. Stay away from guys like Marty, Oldenburg, clout etc

I wasn't implying he needed to choose exactly what the experts do. I'm only saying if he truly believed they have information they aren't telling us from their podcast on Thursdays then he can see who they're avoiding with the expert picks.

Ultimately he's doing just fine without their "information they have that we don't" as he's beating all of them anyway so I'm not sure why he's complaining.

On the 27th he posted that he hit his head and Hope's to be back soon (or something similar) so I guess soon "could" mean today but I got the impression hes gonna be out a bit.

yeah ok, so maybe more east coast guys.

Cooper and Cooper in both classes are locks for safe picks I think this week. But they were mine last weeks.

Anyone know if Barcia is fully recovered from being sick? He might be frisky

is Bowers 100%? Tight track, arenacross background.

Bowers has looked uninspired so far this year, not sure if he has an injury. He was really good in Oakland last year until he crashed on the last lap.

On the Pulp Fantasy podcast I think Paul P made a good point about McAdoo - he's back but one decent crash and he might be out. He's on my team right now but subject to change.

AC has a bruised tailbone, I've done that a couple of times myself and it's pretty painful. I would not risk taking hm, between Webb and Roczen there are better all-star picks IMO.

I'm at 836 points so far. I have not had a good night yet (over 240). My worst was 192 at A2. I'm done with FFL, except at the Triple Crowns. From the first 3 rounds I was +7, -14, -14 in the FFL.

One other thing, I think the whoops will be a non-factor at Oakland. They are short and will break down. This puts some guys further up the list: Webb, Barcia (who admittedly was struggling in them), Cunningham. In 250 Clout, Castelo, and AMart should benefit, though Alex has a banged up hip from a practice crash 2 weeks ago.

I don't think he's racing the 450 any more rounds. He'll be at Tampa on 250 East.

Koga is the ultimate bubble. Just about fast enough to do it, but also enough of a grenade to blow up in your face.

Hasn’t made a main event yet. I’m sure he’s burned down many teams. Tonight is my night to dance with the devil. Wish me luck!

Stupidest advice I've given anyone in a while...

Glad I didn't pick Mcadoo.

I did pick mcadoo. He boned me hard. I ended up with 239 pts and finished 624th. I'm sure I would have had a really nice week if he had stayed inside the top 10.

I had Osborne. Same thing... Was doing great but faded outside the top 10 late in the race

I had Osborne and Mosiman and in the first two laps of both races I was killin it...

I also had Falk and after he got caught up in the 28 crash, he dropped back as well.

221 - i need a bit of a bounce back to get back inside the top 100 in the paid champ

I'm at 193 in the SX series. 97 points behind 1st place. It's crazy how 1 bad pick can really affect your entire season.

This is my first year playing and in 2,000 something. I don't understand how two people with a 2 handicap finsh behind each other in the top 10 one gets double points and the other doesn't. Reading the rules really doesnt make sense how the scoring is.
