I watched the first half of Abducted in Plain Sight while getting ready for work. I recommended it. It's a weird movie.
I watched this it is pretty twisted and crazy that it's a true story. Kinda Reminds me of (U Turn) Wich was also twisted but really good , has Jennifer Lopez in it.

Just finished Season 1 of Mad Men and I’m hooked.
One of my all time favorites. By the end of the series it seemed to fade a little, but overall a binge worthy show

Anyone seen “Dirty John” on Netflix? Stars Connie Britton as a wealthy Newport Beach business woman who gets hooked up with a nutjob from a online dating site. 8 episodes that is supposed to be fairly close to what happened. A friend of mine knew this woman through her business and said the actual events were pretty much in the show except for a little glorification for TV. I got sucked into it real quick. You talk about evil! Dirty John is one huge asshole

Bump ! I get some good shows from this thread.

Atypical is keeping my interest through the first 5 episodes.

Just watched episode 1 on the Aaron Hernandez story on Netflix. What a disaster waiting to happen with that guy. The first hour was very interesting

I watched them all. It’s a well done documentary.

I’m at home for a while after a hip replacement surgery so there’s lots of time for tv. I started Lost In Space. The first episode looks promising.

Dirty John was a nut.
I thought the last scene was going to be her swiping right.
Started Goliath again. Fell asleep right away the last time, not because it was boring but was just exhausted but forgot about it. Finished season 1. Pretty good.

I started watching The Outsider on HBO. Only two episodes have been released but it's really good so far.

I have no idea, but I don't think the little girl is crazy. I think when she said she sees a man, it's that guy. I don't think she sees an imaginary being. I also think he was in their house in the last episode (wet floor).

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but I think he's the reason why the guy "went through" the window in the last episode. It can't be a coincidence that he was in the neighbor's yard when it happened. He must've talked to him beforehand.

Looking forward to tomorrow for episode 3.

Two other mini-series I enjoyed were The Night Of and Sharp Objects. Both of those have to do with murders and will keep you guessing as to who did it. I'd recommend those if you're enjoying The Outsider.

Just started the outsider tonight, good 1st episode, like a lot of Stephen King stories I hope it doesn't just fizzle out. You're right Mav the night of...and sharp objects were both quality shows.

I think some sort of monster thing. Clearly whatever it is it can transform into anyone they want while copying their DNA. I think it's going to maintain its excitement. I'm definitely excited for the next episode.

I watched both of those series and liked them both 👍

And I totally agree that the man/being is n the room with the little girl. I just don’t get his motives right now. Eliminated that one whole family but for what reason?

I am going to check them out.
Really digging Goliath, it reminds me of breaking bad, narcos and Ozark. Almost done with season 2.

haven't watched it but knowing Stephen King i wonder if it perhaps could be a Randall Flagg character. that character shows up all across the SK universe and typically carries the same features.

just a thought

Yeah , me too man! At first I was thinking maybe it's just some crazy dude with a vendetta , but it definitely seems to be shifting into something more super natural. I think what the little girl says about " His face was different " , and the message she was told , to tell the cop , all have some back story to it. And the dick head / drunk / bar fighter cop......had those hits / smacks or whatever they were to the back of his neck , but now seem to be causing him pain. Like it's a way that what ever devilish fucker is doing it to him , it's his way of how he gets people to do his bidding? I freakin' love Mind-Fuck series like this! And Jason Bateman is always so damn good!

The Outsider has hooks in me, too. I like the new PI/clairvoyant lady that’s now investigating things.

I was surfing cable channels Sunday because i couldn’t find the Firestick remote control and came across some of the early episodes of Breaking Bad. I watched that entire series as it was broadcast new each week on AMC. Man, I forgot just how good those early episodes were in Breaking Bad.

regarding The Outsider... i got interested in it but don't have HBO so i downloaded the book on my kindle last night. i read about 100 pages, couldn't put it down. at this rate i should finish it in about a week.

looking forward to watching the series after i finish the book. guess i'll stay out of here for a while as to not spoil anything.

the murder at the first though... holy fuck

We have started the outsider and like it but the arrest at the game in front of everyone almost lost me but I held on and it is really good so far. My wife read the book but I dont know what is going on yet. It's pretty crazy. Really liked Justin Bateman in Ozark too.

Got a CBS all access trial for Picard. Looking forward to it as a Star Trek The Next Generation fan. Wish they would release all the episodes at once though. Also, a cool kind of mindless show to watch is Billy the Exterminator on Amazon. Well put together.

I tried to watch the Watchmen on HBO but I got about 3 episodes into it and it just lost me. If anyone has seen it, does it get better or should I give up on it?

I'm no help. I quit watching it. It just became background noise while I was doing other stuff.

FYI, it's not being renewed for a second season.

It's a bit of a struggle because they made a ridiculously long setup and you never really like any of the characters. However, the last two episodes bring everything together, but getting there is a pain. It just depends on how much you want to know what's going on or how invested you feel.

You lasted as long as I did. It took off too far for me...I finally asked my wife “why are we watching this” and she agreed

Yeah... I'm definitely not that invested in it. I'll have to find a new show to watch after putting the kids to bed.
