Hey everyone, I'm a n00b to the site, so here's my story. My name is Ryan McLeod, and I've been racing motocross in New England for 10 years. I started off racing when I was 16 years old in the 80 class. I slowly progressed thru the ranks and made it up to the B class in 2003. I've been about a mid-pack B rider since then with a few top 10s and top 5s here and there. Last year I did the whole New England Sports Committee spring series and wrapped up the season with an 8th overall in the 25+B class the amateur day at the Unadilla pro national. I've done it all from the local races in the back of a pickup truck, to the big events with the family in the motorhome and trailer. Here are some pics throughout my racing career:

1999 - Sick Shift baggy gear!

2001 - Rider Hill in Derby, VT

2002 - Top 5 C class rider that year.

2003 - Jumped up to the B class and raced the NEMX circuit.

2004 - Mostly just rode for fun this year after my dad passed away.

2005 - More of the same, and got my infamous graphics made up.

2006 - Got a real job and could afford to race again so I bought a new 250f and raced the local tracks.

2007 - Found a reliable racing buddy so we did a lot of racing that year bouncing around between circuits.

2008 - Did a lot of racing doing NESC, Unadilla and a local fair race which was a lot of fun!

Why no 2009 photos? Well I've decided to take a break from racing for a couple years. Why? Because I was kind of burned out last year physically and financially (thanks $4 gas! Angry ) and because I'm trying to start my own business. Since I love motocross so much I am trying to work within the industry. I've recently started my own site (RenegadeMX.com) where I have discussion forums, photo galleries, videos and sell merchandise. I love designing T-shirts so I'm getting a bunch made up and I'm going to go to races and events and setup a booth and sell them. Here's one of my designs and is the main "Renegade" logo:

So that's pretty much my story. I will post up my race photos after each event as well as videos when I have time. I hope you've enjoyed this post as much as I did creating it. See you at an event soon!

Should I say that I've been on RonRon for a while or will that just make it worse? Laughing

That Baggy gear looks like you might die from heat exhaustion.

Great! Just what we need. Another snot nosed kid that hauls ass on a bike, holds it open wide and rails turns while looking back at you and says: "Go on, its easy."

I really don't understand this hostility toward you Ryan. You, threw up some great Buckley shots and were honest about yourself, thats refreshing. Believe me if you were that closet master, Larry Brooks, they would fall on their knees for you. You have to see the sickening ass kissing these fossils are capable of when an industry bigwig is here.

If you are going to hit a race or 2 with NESC make it Middleboro. It's a whole new track and I hear it's awesome. I think I'll hit at least one for sure.

Welcome Ryan. I look for ya at Dilla and Southwick this year. I used to race +25c then b, at Southwick and Unadilla, and Broome, from 05-07 when I got hurt. We prob raced at a NEMX event. My best Southwick finish was a 6th OA I had the worst luck every time I raced there, but loved that track.
You ever head down to D34 tracks at all?

Ditto. Nice post bro. Good to have a new doucher laming it up with us on the interweb, especially someone who actually rides and/or races.

Welcome to Hell Ryan. haha
