I’m a bit young for him, but I remember his name, seeing it on a replay like bar to bar or maybe just speedworld.

I remember looking him up and wanting to interview him because his name alaways stuck with me. Unfortunately, it never happened.

From me being 18 in 2008 looking him up, he seemed under appreciated. But he was so good and was why I wanted to hear his story. He has a few podiums and was damn good.

My first time experiencing a motocross race in person was a Spring amateur event at High Point, where Davey cleaned house in the pro classes. That day has always stuck with me, and particularly my memory of him, because up until that point I had never seen someone go that fast on a dirt bike.

My condolences to his friends and family.

Not my words:
He got sick two days before Halloween couldn’t keep anything down and couldn’t sleep Halloween day he went to the hospital they sedated him and he never woke up his liver shut down yesterday and he died last night.



Sucks , he was pretty young.

Very talented, Great D5 family. I think his wrist injury at the tokyo sx made it tough, but he had the talent to reach the highest level of the sport. He Had some tough injuries for sure. RIP Davey
