That’s really cool! I’ve never gotten to see one of those in person, only in MXA and Dirt Bike magazine. Would love to find one someday!

Is that an ATK peeking out of the garage? Been kicking myself for passing up on a nice 406 about a year ago... I like weird, old bikes!

They only made 10 of the Avengers and by luck I ended up with two of them. I rode ATK's back in the early 90's so when I decided to go vintage racing last year ATK was first bike on the list, however now I am 30 bikes deep in them LOL

Thats a cool, and mostly unknown, piece of dirt bike history right there! And although not period correct, something about those Hoosiers just look "right" on it.

I bought a 406 about 8 years ago with the intent to do something with it, but never did. There's just something about odd ball bikes...

Thats the bike Ronnie Mac shoulld be riding!! ....Or would suit a super hero out of a Marvel Comic or something!
Strange bodywork for sure but love the design. Very damn cool.

I read that the Avenger frame / rear suspension was made by, or was a design collaboration with Scott / PBH in Britain. I could only find one picture (of the many I'm sure I have, but what bloody 'folder' I have them in I do not know) of the Scott/ PBH, circa 1989/90(?), but the raised, one sided, high shock mount was very similar.

However, even with the full, Slater Skinz type body work on the ADB Avenger, you can see Big differences in the frames between to two, and the swingarm . Regarding Swingarms, in my ATK picture folder, there's quite a few different swingarms used over the years, from relatively small section steel, through to quite large section / formed alloy swingarms. The Scott/PBH one, is truly tiny in section.
