I would like to hear from some of you that have been in the past. Is it a decent event? My grandson said he wanted to go and he never tells me he wants to go places, I just take him everywhere. I never even though about going to this even but he asked me.

I looked for a schedule of events and all I could find was a a 7:30 start time.

Will they have qualifiers throughout the day? Would I want to see them?
What time should we get there if we want to mingle and see some fun shit?
Tickets are $15- $160 per the Red Bull site. What area is a good seating section.

Reason I ask all these questions is I get off work at 0700 Saturday morning (0300 pst) so I am just wondering if taking a flight first thing (and try to get a nap on the plane) of just be there at 7:30 p.m to watch the main event?

Thanks,

Gerald

I have been twice and am going again this year. If you go you should try to go for the full day because watching the practice is some of the best part. The races are short so it’s best to get as much viewing. Awesome event not really a bad seat in the house and the pits are good too. No crazy lines to say hello to the riders or anything, and you can’t beat it now that it’s all two strokes it’s so much fun.

Well worth the price of admission. Best way to interact with some of your favorite athletes in a low stress environment.

See you guys there. Sit anwhere as you can’t see the whole and will have to watch the big screens for part of it. As someone else said. Not a bad seat in the house. 2 yrs ago there weren’t many people there and last year when there were more people after Ronnie Mac lost out half of those people left. Its really a great event with a cool vibe.

If you arrived at 7:30 you miss most all of it.

If you have the chance to go, do it. Went last year and I’m going again this year. Had more fun than going to supercross IMO...

I'll be there. My bike will be raced, so will probably just be tuning bike during qualifiers and drinking beers. Look for me in pits by #211

I went every year except last year (I moved out of CA), I would always go early for practice, then leave and go get dinner, come back for the main events. Very causal event, you can hang out with the riders afterwards, I always moved around, watched some from the grandstands, some from the bleachers on the other side, and you can walk down towards the start or go over by the finish and watch.

Okay, we made it out here for the event . I assume we can just purchase tickets at the gate like going to an outdoor national? Or do i need to pre-purchase tickets online?

Thanks
