I’m curious if this will work, with installing the correct jetting and blocking off the power jet? I’m thinking that it is basically the same carb as the 2016 KTM 125, except for the power jet and throttle position sensor.

It will work. It's a short body PWK Airstryker which is what the '16 OEM carb was (minus the TPS and PJ). I would recommend ordering the '16 carb flange as it fits the Keihin where the '17-current flanges are made for the Mikuni carb body. It will work but not optimal. A #7 slide was stock on the '16 KTM 125 so just make sure your slide is correct in the Keihin. Just swap out the jets and you're good to go.

Here are the part numbers.

We also run the 16 throttle cable and a modded G2ergo Domino throttle on ours.

Imo the mikuni on our 2018 tc125 runs amazingly clean and crispy...but our 150sx came with a lectron and going to the stic it really rips and power is addictive

Yup, works great. Like mentioned about put a STIC metering block in it for a big power difference...

Thanks for the info, guys. Would I need to do anything with the power jet? I know that I need the intake boot and fuel hose from the 2016, but will it work with the 2018 throttle assembly and cable? What jetting? I’d like to do the stic at some point but will have to wait for a bit.

Throttle and cable should be fine same with fuel hose I just modified it some. Remove/block powerjet (lots of write ups out there). They fit the stock intake boot ok but the older one is a bit better. No idea on jetting we are all STIC now and lost my notes that I had from before.......

If the power jet is what I'm thinking of, when putting a Keihin YZ carb on a 02-06 CR250, you could plug it with a set screw. I got one at home depot. Some guys just epoxied it up.
