If Legacy can’t get something going soon & this never pans out I am working on a backup plan. I have another guy I am going to sub contract to make a few other parts so let me know your interest on these items:
Head stays
Sprocket cover
Small tab pipe to frame holder
Square Power valve cover

As you can see these parts can all be made flat which is why I want him to do these parts first & can go from there. Stay tuned... 😎

Hi guys, I have some VERY positive news to report 😎
Had a great conversation with Chris at Legacy Carbon today as we are on for these parts to be made!

Clutch cover will be $150 CAD or about $113 USD so a great deal he is giving us.

Ignition cover will be $150 CAD or about $113 USD so a great deal he is giving us.

If you buy them both you will get free shipping!

Chris will be putting up a link for these on his website www.legacy-carbon.com for pre order. I believe it was 1/2 now 1/2 at shipping time but let me verify. He will need to get 5 pre orders to start this & invest in the molds. I think we are over that for clutch covers & close on ignition covers. I suggest as soon as the link is live we pay the deposit so this gets going sooner than later.

I also have a few other parts I’m going to try & have made for us yz guys you all may like 😎 Please let me know your thoughts on them...

Carbon fiber head stays. Right now we would be looking at $80 CAD per set or $60 USD. I think this one is really cool & a good deal.



Another piece is the exhaust hanger tab that mounts up by the kickstand. On those we would be looking at around $40 CAD or about $30 USD.



I am also working with them on the flat power valve cover plate that sits above the exhaust & a sprocket cover. The sprocket cover I have 2 ideas, one flat & simple & hopefully less expensive vs the other one more like OEM with some bend to it so no spacers are needed. I will get pricing on those once we play around with it more or get a proto made. Do let me know your thoughts on these as well.

Hey buddy, all good & I don’t think you dropped the ball. Heck you were the one to step up & contact Legacy with the other company didn’t want to make these. Kudos to you man & all good. I’m just glad Chris from Legacy is super cool & wanted this to happen just as bad as we do! I’m super excited!!!

I’ll try not to hijack this thread for YZ guys, but is it possible to come up with a similar group buy for the Suzuki 2 strokes?

Yeah hopefully this rolls into a massive 2 stroke hookup. I’m down for complete sets for both the RM125 and RM250 01-08. Ignition, clutch, and powervalve covers would be sweet.

Did you speak to him bc I did & he said he wasn’t going to bc he didn’t have the molds....
Not only that but these from Legacy are $113 & the one on eBay is $193.

I did not speak to him I just know they are on eBay and that’s his ebay account.

See that’s what I don’t get.... 2 conversations with him, last one asked if he for sure didn’t have a few of these squirreled away somewhere then asked what it would take for him to repoop them. Then he puts them on eBay, go figure. Oh well, looks like it worked out for the better bc Legacy will now be making several new parts & be CHEAPER than the lightspeed stuff 👍🏻

Does anyone know when legacy is going to cut off the pre sale deal, probably going to do one set, maybe two.

i want the igniton cover and the r304 pc carbon end cap, i just placed my pre order for the igniton cover, i have a hinson and gytr clutch cover kicking around. i really want the end cap for the r304 and the head stays
