James deserves the title..

But Larry's interview during the live broadcast was the most unprofessional, whiney, immature invterview I've ever seen on television....

And James invterview on the podium with Erin was a bit unprofessional and unsportsman like as well, in my opinion. Especially when compared to Reeds.

I lost virtually all respect for Larry Brooks, and a lot of respect for James Stewart.

I don't expect the riders to place nice, but sheeesh, James' podium interview with Erin was just completely inappropriate.

Just my opinion though...

Congrats James!

I'm sure Reed doesn't like James just as much as James doesn't like Reed...but Reed took the high road...aaaaannnnnnndddddddd...James took the Larry Brooks road (which is below the low road).

If the "M" part of L&M, has any brains he would make sure "L" stays away from all media outlets...Larry is an embarrassment to his sponsors...Or at the very minimum get the guy a PR coach or something, holy shit.

geez, people complain when a rider is too "boring" and PC and people complain that they all sound alike on the podium. then someone is honest and doesn't hold back, and you call it unprofessional? Huh

It's one thing to be honest, and a completely different thing to be whiny, immature, unsportsmanlike, and unprofessional.

Larry is 100% all of those things, James is a few of them...(at least in his podium interview with Erin)

L&M needs to invest in the PR firm that Suzuki uses.

I guess everyone wants another sport like Golf where most of the participants are corporate poster boys who do no wrong or say no wrong.

I love all of it. the passion in this sport is unparalleled imho...but so's the number of non-competitive moto people..weird.

brooks and james are world champs, they battled through a lot this year. reed gave a giant effort and stepped up big time. great drama and racing i say...wish there was more of it.

The series finale drained me; can't imagine how much it drained both JS and CR for the past several weeks.

scottie...i was about 10 feet from there on this little scooter outside the pits. i almost yelled " fuckem if they can't take a joke Larry!! ". but that would have blown the take and somebody would have gotten pissed. lol

i went by james pits later looking for larry but he was not around.

gotta remember, there's a lot of emotion and a lot at stake for not just larry but everybody else involved

Sorry to say, but Reed has been the biggest F'ing cry baby out there since he came to america. He hasnt shown that much of it this year, and maybe that is because his boss doesnt allow crying and excuses but up until now he has been the one to bitch the most out of everyone. How do you cry about your bikes being shit and you cant win on them and your team cant figure out the problems and that you are fast enough to win only if your bikes were. That seems a little immature and unprofessional to me.

thanks scottie!

i can see how some people may take that as "unprofessional", but i for one enjoy it. I mean, these guys are only human. Like bobby said, they have A LOT invested in all this. blood, sweat, tears. The drama between chad and his former team and all that is pretty much a story within a story. If Brooks had remained silent and more "professional" in some peoples eyes...well that would take a little bit of the drama and hoopla surrounding the title chase out of it.

face it, all this stuff makes the great racing even that more exciting. as fans we should be loving it, not tearing it down as "unprfessional"

I'm pissed at both of them.
As for Reed, what a pussy! If you are going to try to knock him down to win the title, pick a 180 corner and punt him. Don't pussy foot around and try and make it look like you weren't trying to. Just pick a better spot on the track and DO IT!

As for Stewey, why hold back? In the interview with Erin, I would have yelled over to Reed and said, "Yo Reed, Second place is the First LOSER! Nice try though!!!"

This is coming from a short, slow, fat Vet Rider that only wins races against a gate full of handicapped people! I think they both should of let loose a little more so we could have enjoyed it some!

Oh well, let's get the Outdoors rolling!!!!! With No Reed or Stewey, my money is on Alessi, with a small wager on Villipoto!!!

It's no longer just racing, it's entertainment now as stated by the racers themselves. Afterall it's JSE not JSR.

Reed has been a PR revelation this year...and it's completely refreshing. L&M needs to take notes.

I dont think its a PR firm unless Roger D has his own PR firm. Reed hasnt said as much of the stuff that he would have before but you also have to look at where he is at. He cant say crap about his bikes, RC won and dominated on them. He cant say crap about his team, RD has been the man for how long. I think Reed has finally learned that saying stuff about your team doesnt work out and you can see that and that is why he isnt on L&M any more.

James is a world Champ.....larry is a manager of a team that paid a world champ. LB can take zero credit for Stewarts success.
Stewart could have won on any team or as a privateer for that matter.
If LB was the greatest manager in the world Stewart wouldnt have come to A1 with a bike that handled like a Bultaco.
How long is Stewarts contract with San-Manuel?

I liked it when little Jimmie was saying Chad was a dirty rider haha "Hello pot meet kettle"

People say James is in Chad's head, the way he carried on and on in the podium interview about him i would say Chad is fairly well implanted in James head more than people will admit.
