James deserves the title..
But Larry's interview during the live broadcast was the most unprofessional, whiney, immature invterview I've ever seen on television....
And James invterview on the podium with Erin was a bit unprofessional and unsportsman like as well, in my opinion. Especially when compared to Reeds.
I lost virtually all respect for Larry Brooks, and a lot of respect for James Stewart.
I don't expect the riders to place nice, but sheeesh, James' podium interview with Erin was just completely inappropriate.
Just my opinion though...
Congrats James!

If the "M" part of L&M, has any brains he would make sure "L" stays away from all media outlets...Larry is an embarrassment to his sponsors...Or at the very minimum get the guy a PR coach or something, holy shit.
Larry is 100% all of those things, James is a few of them...(at least in his podium interview with Erin)
L&M needs to invest in the PR firm that Suzuki uses.

was Larrys interview in question on the TV broadcast. or an internet thing or something? I have it on DVR and I want to go back and watch it. when about in the broadcast was it? don't feel like scrolling through the whole three hour show...
brooks and james are world champs, they battled through a lot this year. reed gave a giant effort and stepped up big time. great drama and racing i say...wish there was more of it.
i went by james pits later looking for larry but he was not around.
gotta remember, there's a lot of emotion and a lot at stake for not just larry but everybody else involved
Pit Row
thanks scottie!
i can see how some people may take that as "unprofessional", but i for one enjoy it. I mean, these guys are only human. Like bobby said, they have A LOT invested in all this. blood, sweat, tears. The drama between chad and his former team and all that is pretty much a story within a story. If Brooks had remained silent and more "professional" in some peoples eyes...well that would take a little bit of the drama and hoopla surrounding the title chase out of it.
face it, all this stuff makes the great racing even that more exciting. as fans we should be loving it, not tearing it down as "unprfessional"
As for Reed, what a pussy! If you are going to try to knock him down to win the title, pick a 180 corner and punt him. Don't pussy foot around and try and make it look like you weren't trying to. Just pick a better spot on the track and DO IT!
As for Stewey, why hold back? In the interview with Erin, I would have yelled over to Reed and said, "Yo Reed, Second place is the First LOSER! Nice try though!!!"
This is coming from a short, slow, fat Vet Rider that only wins races against a gate full of handicapped people! I think they both should of let loose a little more so we could have enjoyed it some!
Oh well, let's get the Outdoors rolling!!!!! With No Reed or Stewey, my money is on Alessi, with a small wager on Villipoto!!!
Reed has been a PR revelation this year...and it's completely refreshing. L&M needs to take notes.
Stewart could have won on any team or as a privateer for that matter.
If LB was the greatest manager in the world Stewart wouldnt have come to A1 with a bike that handled like a Bultaco.
How long is Stewarts contract with San-Manuel?
Chopper says...
People say James is in Chad's head, the way he carried on and on in the podium interview about him i would say Chad is fairly well implanted in James head more than people will admit.

Post a reply to: Congrats To James....his team could use some professionalism training.
