This was probably the most drama filled, exciting, and suspenseful series I have ever seen, and a guarantee that Reed will return next year...NFM..

Yes, and congrats to James and Ryan and Christophe for their titles. Everyone else try and give a little more next year (or a little less). Great series, first one in YEARS that I didnt stop paying attention to after round 4 or 5.

My first Sx season in a long time that I was either at the race or listening to them. It all comes down to Reed showing up for battle ready every week and James just being James.

hey woody, was it you or that racer that was saying all this same bullshit last year how Chad would be lucky to get a podium this year, blah blah blah, RV will skin him alive blah blah blah, how did that work out?

Hate to break it to you but it will be pretty much the same next year, although i do hope RV can carry the speed he had tonight for a complete series.

He had a great year for his first year on the big bikes.

I dis-agree Len. This season (though good) can't compare with 2006 a'tall.

Haha, i think the only one you really get to is Paul/Motodude.,

Since 2003 people have been saying rider X be it Tedesco, Milsaps, RV etc will mix it up for the title, be amajor threat yada yada yada, not once has it come true, James and Chad are just that much better than the rest over a complete series, have been since Chad 2003/ James 2005 and it wont change until they decdide to retire or hit their 30's.

Next year should be great with Dungey joining in but i think he will be mixing it with RV for 3rd 15-20 seconds back from James/CR.

You are 100% correct. Reed has RV covered just like Stewart has Reed covered. It will be Stewart 1 Reed 2 for the next 5 yrs.

Hard to say about the Nationals, especially the early ones as we dont know how much testing he has done.

He definately wont get smoked by them, just because they go outdoors he doesnt suddenly become a spode. I think people forget how fast he was outdoors as he hasnt done the series full for a long time.

Yeah he sucked at last years des nations, and he is the first to admit it.

Dunno... I think most just watched to see if James would fall. I seriously never worried about Chad winning races on his own, but that's just me. I was disappointed this last race. I was looking for a checkers or wreckers ride and didn't see one tonight either.

Reed is not a wreckers or checkers kind of a guy. Never has been and never will be. That's why he never beat RC and will never beat Stewart.

To beat Stewart you have to be scared and on the edge. That's not Reeds MO.

My post was in response to Reeds own words of how he was going to ride this last race.

Haha.

"Scared" and "Ricky Carmichael" don't belong in the same sentence, unles it refers to the competition.

It's more likely that Stewart was somewhat scared of RC. He described the feeling of that #4 bike coming up behind you and said that it was unimaginally unsettling.

Hell no! Chad is a bad mofo outdoors. Smoked by RV and MA? No way. Battle maybe, smoked, nah. It's so easy to forget how talented Chad is.

All BS aside, the action was there, good racing in both classes, different track designs, the rivalaries, points down to the last race etc etc. I thought it was all good.

Can't wait for the outdoors!

When Reed raced nationals not that long ago, and someone said MA would smoke him, you would have been laughed at. RV is a different type of talent, and should be competitive, but smoke Reed. Common Seriously?
