Just watched the replay of Tomac doing the leap and crossing the finish line jump at the end of Moto 1. I noticed this guy following him fist pumping over the leap, and again fist pumping over the finish. I had to see who this guy was that was so pumped. Coty Schock 319. I look him up and we are from the same hometown. Dover DE represent, 15th overall on the day, great job man! I didn't start following MX til after I joined the military and moved away so I don't know any of my local hometown talent, this is pretty cool. You got a new fan.

When I was stationed in NJ, he was a regular sight along with Ronnie Stewart at the local tracks (Etown, FOD, etc.). I was a fan till the recent gofundme / stolen bike thing which I just can't support. Kid flies though, sure my squid ass got in his way a few times or two in open practice. Good for him and awesome results!

This kid absolutely shreds our local tracks (etown and FOD) and he's a super nice/humble kid to boot. It's great to see him getting the recognition he deserves
